So everyone is fighting for 40 tickets? Isn't that what the contest said?
This will be like Jay Z opening up Webster Hall where all in attendance were excecs.
The way I read it was 40 tickets for the channel call in giveaways. There’s probably a lot more for the targeted marketing email contests for SXM and Pandora.
I got to go to the GnR show 3 years ago, its amazing. The first 4 rows seemed like real fans, then behind us were Sofia Vargara, John McEnroe, a bunch of people my wife had to explain to me who they were. Then mostly Sirius people.
The topper was Sirius had open air buses to get you back to wherever you were staying in NYC. We were staying by Penn Station, so we took an open air bus through central park and times square at 2am with no one on the road, very cool.
Free poster, 2 tshirts, laminates, etc. Other than the final PJ Spectrum show, my favorite concert.
It’s good that the place will be full of corporate fat cats and celebrities. In today’s dark times, it’s a great feeling knowing that this minority is being looked after.

I saw U2 there in 2018. Incredible experience!! T-shirt, free mixed drinks, etc. Yeah, we were up in the balcony with Robert Kraft, Jon Bon Jovi, John McEnroe(LOL, he must get into all of the shows there). I wish they could get more of the hard core fans in there!
Don't get me wrong , super excited for the 40 fans who get a pair of tickets. I don't think 10C will be giving away more than 1-2 pairs of tickets. This is a Sirius event. Lots of executives , people whom work for Sirius and family of theirs. Friends and Family of the band. Again its a one in a million chance so don't get your hopes up , its cool these things happen but just keep the odds in mind if you don't win.
When TT & The Bears in Cambridge was closing ( Max Capacity 150 ) , the Pixies played a surprise show there as did The Mighty Mighty Bosstones since both bands had gotten their start playing there.
For both shows at least 100 of the tickets were set aside for friends / family of the band. That said I did make it into the Bosstones show and they only release 30 tickets to that show. Yes it was amazing to see them basically play on a bar stage , however had I not gotten in , I would not have been upset again hard odds.

So for those of you who have gone to these Sirius shows before, how did you win? The email contests, call-ins? I have won some event tickets from Sirius to regular shows in Tampa by the email entries, but I don't think that compares to these Sirius Xm branded events.
I'm in it to win it. Hoping to get lucky with the call in like I did in '94 for the Paramount theater. Scored a pair of tickets to that fan club only show from the radio station Z100 on a rotary phone. lol Ill be listening attentively and have already input that phone # in my contacts.......
Son of a.... Philly. Like others I jumped the gun and excitedly submitted a form w/ Philly as the answer. I just concluded a twenty minute phone call w/ a Customer Rep from Sirius where they ultimately told me they could not locate my submittal to change the answer. They suggested I submit a new form, so I explained to them their rules state more than one submittal disqualifies the entrant. Dang. Folks, carefully read the question before answering.
I've never been to one of the Apollo shows, but I've heard similar things regarding the crowd being mostly industry people. I attended the Phish show at the Met which was great and seemed to be all fans - but the Met is also twice the size and located in Philadelphia vs. Manhattan.
Has anyone gotten emails from Sirius at all? I am a Sirius member but I never received information about this show. Was there an initial email sent out?
Totally not getting picked. Submission form wouldn't accept my email address that I was logged in with as being valid. Picked another address and it submitted fine.

Dude - I did the same! No luck with customer service...
Crap I even googled it and still missed it because a stupid rolling stone article came up saying Philly was the first. Didn’t read it all and it goes on to say it was first time in US
