    Can't get through on my Verizon cell or on my landline. So frustrating. Closest I got was silence for about 12 seconds and then it just disconnected :(

    This was the first time I ever got through.   Heard TOTD in the background.   I called with my desk phone and my cell phone (Verizon) and both got picked up.  Calling from Indiana.

    I started calling when the announcer was plugging the contest.  Listening online.

    She handed me the phone so I got to experience the hold music thinking i won and then to be told I am number 5

    We started calling when the song came on in the car.  We got through when TOTD was on in the background (we had walked inside so I assume it was what was playing)

    Clearly my reverse psychology worked! I think Alive started playing on the App shortly after I posted this. I started calling about 10 seconds into the song on the app. 1st call was at 1:47 and on the 9th call at 1:49 I got the hold music for almost a minute before someone came on and said caller 4. I thought being on hold that long I might be close. Oh well.

    Should I have kept calling past 1:52 pm, then? I made 31 calls in 4 minutes but only ever got "all circuits are busy".

    That's about when I threw in the towel. Song came on at about 1:44 on the satellite.
