    It sucks if you arent in your car or don't have a receiver and you just can listen online. Such a disadvantage. Even if im in my car, ill likely be driving and when I hear the song get all flustered and panic and end up crashing my car.

    When I was calling, it was dead air for like 20 seconds then "Your call cannot be completed because your cell phone has a fraud protection feature" or something weird. Then other times it was just a normal "Your call cannot be completed at this time" A few other times it was busy. But every call I made was dead air for 20 seconds. Not once did it ever ring right away.

    I tried with a landline and still got dead air, but at least with the landline it gave a busy signal.

    This is impossible. This will go down as the hardest ticket ever to get in Pearl Jam history.

    So how quickly did it get to caller 17 from when the song started.  Looks like 2 minutes.  This all happened when I walked out to my car.  Missed the song moving from online to my car

    Well glad I was right to call in but every time they say the lines are full of course. They don’t talk to a winner on air for song of the week?

    The longer number works because you’ve already dialed the actual number by the time you’re entering the last 2 digits. Come on people. Phone numbers are a set amount of digits. No more, no less. It’s a vanity number to make it easier to remember. 
    But, as we learned earlier, if you don’t dial the “1” first you wind up calling Cambodia. I feel bad for the poor folks who have that number in Cambodia. “What’s a Pearl Jam??”   :)

    Honestly, if I got through and someone told me I won and asked for my SSN, I'd probably give it to them.
    They actually will ask for it for tax purposes (but not over the phone)

    It took several "circuits are busy" calls to get through even once the song started streaming online.

    They don’t have live DJs on Pearl Jam radio. There’s no one to talk to.

    Welcome to the world of streaming media.

    The thought (as it was told to me when I first downloaded the SiriusXM app back about 10-11 years ago) was that if the internet connection craps out, you still had a couple minutes to regain connection before you couldn't listen at all.

    Your Hulu, YouTube TV, FSGO or whatever TV via internet will be delayed vs something like Comcast, Charter, DirecTV.
