So I was caller 4 and then caller 16. I called again and thought I won, because I started talking when the station guy Andrew was asking questions. The weird thing was that I was in the background during the whole conversation for the guy Dan who just won. No one could hear me, but I heard the whole conversation. WTF. My heart was racing. Dammit!!

So with streaming on a 2 min delay, I think it’s safe to say you can’t wait to hear song on streaming. You have to pound 2 min ahead of time OR look for someone here to post GO to have a chance.

When did you dial and how far apart were those two calls?
I saw the post here, clicked on my Sirius app to confirm the song and immediately dialed. No ring, pause, heard I’m 4th caller. Hung up dialed immediately again, same thing but 16th caller. Hung up. Dialed immediately again, then thought I won, as I was answering questions when the guy starting asking, but then heard Dan speaking.

I was in the car and began calling as soon as I heard the song. But because I never heard the phone ring, like it did when I got through on Monday, I kept hanging up and trying again.

Some extra color for those strategizing: I called from a work landline and on 3rd attempt I just waited about a minute after the phone read “connected” (was tempted to hang up since so much silence but just held on...). Then the program manager picked up and verified my info, etc (that some of you now have 😉).
I also got through last week during FF using same landline and spoke to Rob (was on air). I think the wired connection may help, even though I’m sure my work has VoIP (web based).
I wish I could bring someone here (and Jed I certainly owe you so let’s meetup at a show) but I have to bring my wife to this one (big fan too - she will hit 15 shows this tour). Pics / vids / stories will definitely be shared.

Damn, I’m going to be tied up on calls for most of tomorrow’s window. And if I start treating my family during the 5-10 pm slots the way I treat my job during the morning slots, I’ll end up divorced and looking for a +1 for MSG.
