What do y'all think is a better view...Oakland 114 high row 18 mid row or 113 lower row 5 (aisle seat 1)?
    Curious for opinions

Hey - a website I often use when trying to choose seats is called "A View from my seat" .com.  It doesn't have every seat covered, etc. but you can search for most venues, put in what type of event it is (e.g., concert, sporting event, etc), then pick a section number, and if anyone has uploaded pictures or ratings from that section, you can check it out!  Actually works pretty well, and getting better all the time as more people upload images and comments.  There are probably similar websites out there, but that is the one I usually use!  Hope this helps!

113's for sure for me. Aisle seats are good but suck when people flood the aisle and the ushers dont do their job.
I do like being on the aisle vs middle of row....pros/cons...
There is for sure. Last two times I got aisle though the ushers were garbage and a bunch of people were bumping into us all night. I am talking 20 people in the aisle. Crazy.

For the person asking about 110 in TO this is row 11 I think from 2016. I liked those seats a lot.

I love side stage tickets.  For me my preference is:

    1) GA Pit
    2) Side Stage Lower Level
    3) First 2 or 3 rows of seats behind the pit
    4) Close side sections (the first 2ish sections in front of the stage) lower level
    5) Side Stage Upper deck
    6) Rear sections of the Arena lower level
    7) Rear sections of the Arena upper level
    8) Back sections of floor
    9) Behind Stage

Your ranking is exactly the same as mine. Fully agree on side tix.  Love watching concerts from section 110 in Toronto. Am there again on the 18th!

Higher up on the sidestage may have some obstructions too though. Not sure if row 25 would or not but hanging speakers and lights could be a factor.

I think the all dark gray map means that show is now 100% sold out, including any Vitalogy Charity seats.

I've booked the Holiday Inn in Baltimore, diagonally across the street from the venue.  I do not have a ticket yet, and think I have to cancel by two days ahead of time.  I'm not a gambler and will not travel to Baltimore from NYC without already having a ticket.  When I looked a few weeks ago, everything at a name hotel within walking distance was sold out or very close to it.

I should have called it quits with GNR (outside of the 1st 2 reunion shows they played at T-Mobile Arena I went to in Vegas, which were incredible) just to see Axl/Slash/Duff back together after I finally achieved one of my life's primary quests and nabbed the mic Axl tosses at the end of every show.

It's a pretty cool story, if anyone here is bored of F5'ing and wants to read about it.

    http://www.mygnrforum.com/topic/194893-saturday-nights-mic-tossassistance-requested/

So that I don't have to read through 8 pages, what's the short version of the story?
Got mic during the residency they played at the Hard Rock in 2012.  Had security come over and confiscate it, which is complete and total bullshit if you follow GNR.  Lost my mind in anger and started threads about what happened on pretty much every GNR message board there is.  Had it take off to the point where members of the band actually commented on it on their FB pages asking the casino what the fuck they were doing.

Got a call from the Head of PR at the Hard Rock to personally apologize and tell me they would sending me a replacement mic.  They were unable to get the band to get them one, so they had to actually open the GNR display case in the lobby of the hotel and send me the one they had, which was signed by the entire fucking band.

Decided to go completely over the top and had it, a ticket, pics from the show, and a room key with the art from the residency framed with a mirrored back to show the signatures on the backside and give it my best friend that took me to Vegas for that weekend when my life was in the shitter and I desperately needed a break.

Easily one of my best 3 stories on my time on this planet so far.
Awesome story! Well done getting the PR train rolling -- amazing that they opened up the memorabilia case to make it right. Wonder what happened to all the rest of that memorabilia now that the HRH just recently closed
  • Tapping out. Long friggin day on here....Good Luck everyone

Just posted two floor seats for TO.  Told a couple of members  about it.  We were watching.  Not even a glimpse before I get the email that they are sold.  They never posted up on the screen for any of us.  Completely dubious to me.
You try and play by the rules.  Anybody sees left side floors row 18 seats five and six, I'd like to hear about it.

I scored STL just now.  2 tickets up high in Section 317, but its an upgrade over my 333 seats.  I'm going to post the 333 seats (or at least start the process at 10:15am CST today).  Persistence is key.  And by the way, I used the app, filtered the results for only F2F seats, (which saves you having to hit "got it") and refreshed non stop (the app never accused me of being a bot using this method, but it did when I would check, hit got it, hit back, and check again).

Good luck everyone who is still at it.  I'm afraid to open up my screen time app.  I'm guessing I spent 8-9 hours since yesterday morning at it.
How do you refresh in the app without backing out of the screen with seating chart?
