I think there's some sarcasm there (i.e., travel to work is more important that clubbling), but for some people it is at least a perk. I live right on the Green Line light rail transit (LRT) line in St. Paul, MN and my wife and I have one car. I love(d) it. I never drove to Twins games, work, etc. Now I haven't been on it for a year. It's a loss.

Covid-19 is the worst, but sometimes I think people downplay how awful Covid-6 and Covid-11 were.  Covid-8 was so mild, I'm not sure it should have been a Covid.

I think Kellyanne Conway made a similar statement some time last year as well. In her case I figured it was intentional to try and minimize things while knowing full well the meaning of the name. Right out of the DJT Covid playbook.

Nuge on the other hand I think was either ill informed or just too dumb to know the reason the name is Covid-19.

manitoba is in its 3rd wave, and more restrictions coming very soon. we literally loosened them just over a week ago.
