it might literally end up being cheaper for me to fly to St Louis, get a hotel and see PJ than it would be for me to see PJ at MSG, and I work 13 blocks away from MSG...

Phoenix 2013, LA 1 2013, Ft. Lauderdale 2016, Miami 2016, Philly 1 2016, MSG 1 2016, MSG 2 2016, Fenway 2 2016.
I have a non-refundable hotel room and train ticket to Baltimore and literally no clue how I am getting into the show.
Bleck.
Where there is a will, there's a way. Show up anyway, something will work out. Someone here will have a sick friend, etc. If not, Yankees are in town and lots of good things to do at Fells Point.

Sounds about right
or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah... makes much more sense to live in the present tense...
MSG - These tickets went fast and are currently sold out. But more tickets may become available soon. Check back for updates. Never even got to the room. In 4 accounts.
it's fairly obvious they made a mistake booking one night at MSG. Getting tickets to those shows was hard enough in 2016 and there were two. I expect the cheapest ticket to be $300+ on stubhub.
Zero mistake booking one night at MSG - they knew exactly what they were doing with the time constraints, venue availability etc. And shockingly there are other areas of the country that want to see the band play.
I never said there aren't other areas of the country that want to see PJ. But you must realize that PJ playing in NYC, a city of 8m+ ppl (not even going to count the full tri-state area), is a lot different than them playing in a place like Detroit. This is why, imo, it warrants two nights. And it's not like this is unprecedented... They have played MSG/Barclays two nights on several occasions.
I get the desire for more shows, but NA leg 1, Europe, NA leg 2--they aren't going to do more, so it sorta sounds like some people (not necessarily you) are saying NY should get 2 shows and one of these others cities is SOL (like OKC perhaps).
I got on msg que the second it opened around 9.45
25000+ ahead of me
thats 50000 tickets, before me, but only those that were able to get in line
How many shows should they be playing outside nyc if that’s the demand here?
My buddy started at 52 for Baltimore. He decided he didn’t like any of the seats, so after a while he bailed. If a lot of people do that, there may be a few strays left still.
Damn. Wish your buddy would of bought two! I would have took them off his hands no matter where they were lol
If tickets were transferable I’d have told him to buy a couple. Alas.
You guys who booked hotel rooms are lucky. I committed to visiting/staying with my mother-in-law, which I'll now have to do regardless of whether or not I find a ticket. Imagining myself sitting on her couch that night watching the setlist thread updates.

Then you're in the position many fans already find ourselves!

Myself and my dad are still in the “tickets are about to become available” reloading over and over.
Very fortunate my friend came up big.
Had my 4th guy able to get tickets and there were only singles left in 102, 104, 103, 105. Everything else is gone.
Never even got to the room. In 4 accounts.
