Well I went from the "Jack Irons era" to the middle ages to the birth of Christ pretty quickly, and now I'm just looking at a box with a spinning circle and a message that says "Tickets are about to become available...sit tight."
Motherfucker. My slow ass finally got to the front of the line, and then I got an error message with every combination of tickets I tried to get. I'm gonna hope that the karma I put out in the universe with my Fenway 2018 tickets comes back to me for this leg of the tour...
My buddy started at 52 for Baltimore. He decided he didn’t like any of the seats, so after a while he bailed. If a lot of people do that, there may be a few strays left still.
Damn. Wish your buddy would of bought two! I would have took them off his hands no matter where they were lol
it's fairly obvious they made a mistake booking one night at MSG. Getting tickets to those shows was hard enough in 2016 and there were two. I expect the cheapest ticket to be $300+ on stubhub.
Zero mistake booking one night at MSG - they knew exactly what they were doing with the time constraints, venue availability etc. And shockingly there are other areas of the country that want to see the band play.
I never said there aren't other areas of the country that want to see PJ. But you must realize that PJ playing in NYC, a city of 8m+ ppl (not even going to count the full tri-state area), is a lot different than them playing in a place like Detroit. This is why, imo, it warrants two nights. And it's not like this is unprecedented... They have played MSG/Barclays two nights on several occasions.
2 or 3 nights at msg does not even come close to meeting the demand for nyc shows compared to the rest of...everywhere.
I'm sitting tight.........if I sit loose I assume I will get no tix. I can't see how this could go wrong. In all seriousness, did this work for anyone? I really think they (ticketmaster, not PJ) screwed teh pooch with this new system....the old system where you simply were randomly "awarded" best available tix if you logged in quick was way better (and faster) in my purely anecdotal experience. You logged in before 10, refreshed as much as possible right at 10 until buy tix came up, and then searched and got what you got. This is miserable and takes forever.

Right - and as mentioned a condensed first leg of the tour, with limited arena availability didn't allow it for the first leg. If people want to go, they'll always figure out a way to get in the door... always.
or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah... makes much more sense to live in the present tense...
I got through on Baltimore and then it went to a "tickets will be available Friday January 31" countdown.
