Late to the conversation, but for sure it is "ignore" the first time and  "endure" the second. And the "grow their dicks, and fix, and FIRE things" line along with the line about girls seems to be about how kids are when they are children, but...Stand back when the spirit cones" because once the spirit strikes, they can be relentless and unstoppable, and change the world. Like, say, Greta T. Or the activists from Parkland High School. Seems like a song of hope in our youth.
