If anything has to give, hopefully it's that Bourbon and Beyond crap.

They scheduled the concerts...nothing should give until it has to.  So not sure what you mean here?  You saying they should now cancel a show that fans have bought tickets to in order to keep your show?

I also tend to over schedule, forgetting that I’m getting older.  What sounded like a good idea at the time I planned it, seems incredibly difficult and dumb when the time comes to actually do it.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

I think a lot of "friend's of the band" (specifically Brandi Carlile) are also playing Bourbon and Beyond so they probably thought it would be cool instead of thinking " 3 cities in 3 days is insane".
    6/26/98 & 6/27/98 - Alpine Valley, 10/9/00 - Allstate Arena - Rosemont, IL 6/18/2003 - United Center, 5/16/2006 - United Center,
5/17/2006 - United Center (7th row center, caught Eddie's pick), 6/29/2006 - Summerfest with Tom Petty,
    8/24/2009 - United Center, 7/19/2013 - Wrigley Field, 10/3/2014 - St Louis, 10/17/2014 - Moline (GA), 10/20/2014 - Milwaukee,
    5/14/2015 - Pete Townshend/EV, 8/20/16 & 8/22/16 Wrigley Field Part 2&3, 8/18/18 & 8/20/18 Wrigley Parts 4 & 5, 9/18/2022 - St Louis
All Chicago Wrigley and United Center shows (not worth listing out )

Haha. I sometimes do that with concert tix. What in, say, January seemed like a great idea buying tickets for a November performance seems more like a questionable decision come the November show date. Then again, being asked to purchase tickets that far in advance while having no idea what life might be like in, say, another ten months is whole 'nother topic....

Lol. My original plan was: B&B Louisville Thursday, PJ Nashville Friday, B&B Louisville Saturday, PJ St. Louis Sunday, DMB Hollywood Monday, DMB Hollywood Tuesday.
At this point, I think I've decided to just do Nashville, St Louis and OKC.  :D

If something has to give, you saying they should cancel a full PJ show that fans have bought tickets to (and waited years to be rescheduled) in order to keep your short festival set?

I have an all day event Saturday for my business at Pride Saturday... PJ is Sunday in St. Louis.   Monday night Built to Spill play a tiny place in STL and Tuesday we drive to KC to see Pavement at the Uptown.

People bought tickets to both.  I'm saying you move forward and make them both happen.  And if something should occur, you cancel when something occurs, not just in case...no preventative canceling after tickets have been sold.

How did you dream up "preventive canceling"?

They aren't cancelling B&B just because you think St Louis will suffer. Get over yourself.
