Any good Gluten Free restaurants close to the arena? And good places to park, close to the arena.
    Thanks!
You should be able to find plenty of free on-street parking (since I assume I'll be seeing you early in the day as always). Just be sure to verify signage but no worries with plenty of secondary streets quietly tucked all around the venue.

So I was going to stay at the admiral inn, about a mile from the venue. But then i found the Hamilton Plaza Hotel & Conference Center for same price much closer, just without free parking.

If I roll into Hamilton around 3pm for check in, and try to park near the conference center, which is near the venue, should I be ok? Or should I take the free parking at the admiral and hoof it further?
Hamilton plaza is a much nicer hotel and it’s an easier walk to the arena

I'll be there.  Hard to believe it has been almost 9 years since PJ came to town.  Listening to that bootleg now.  "Made it to the Hammer, had a smoke in a tree..."
30 minutes from home saves on hotel bills!  10C number 431,XXX.  It will be my 19th show, and can't wait!

I am staying there and as far as I can tell its only $8 a day with in and out privileges. Not a bad value for being closer imo. Also I am curious if our car does not move do we get a day free? I might go for a double BigMac combo is so!
I saw the $8 too, but it said managed by some other company, who im sure will be into making bank on that concert. IDK the area so im not sure if parking is plentiful elsewhere or what.
D-rod would be the guy to ask like you did but looking at hotels now they are more expensive than when I booked a week ago so I have to leave it now. Also do not plan on driving around so if you are in the lot on the day of the show I am sure you would be fine.
Hamilton City plaza, Staybridge Suites  and The Sheraton are all great hotels within walking distance of the venue.

Missed out on my 1st choice Hamilton BA. I’ll have to try my luck on public sale I guess, if anyone has a verified presale code they aren’t using because they got their shows would be awesome as I am in Hamilton for 2 weeks in March.

Did get Toronto 2nd choice somehow.

I made a list of restaurants that are within walking distance or a very short Uber ride from First Ontario Centre and all downtown hotels. I’m only going to reference establishments that I have eaten at some point and would eat at again.

    Bronzie’s place ( Italian)
    La Cantina (Italian)
    The George Hamilton restaurant
    Anchor Bar ( chicken wings)
Radius ( also a night club , got thrown out once, bouncer was a jerk)
Cat n Fiddle ( English pub)
    Stonewall Restaurant
Honest Lawyer ( most likely the pre and post Pearl Jam party)
Hamilton Burger ( best QSR burger place in town)
also any restaurant on Locke st like Brux House craft beers and Westtown tavern.
Locke street is a nice area made up of antique shops and scratch bakeries

for any other Hamiltonians if I have missed somewhere that you could recommend please let us know.

I would add restaurants along King William to this list. The French is great, so is The Diplomat and HAMBRGR.

We live in the city, here is my input to help all those coming to visit.

I must say Bronzies is a god dem gem of a place on James St. 👌 It's maybe a 5-10 minute walk and the best home style pizza, family home feeling family run place in the city! Think cheers.. but hamilton.

    Brux house is our favorite!

    West Town for breakfast 👌

My additions would be as follows..

If you feel adventurous.. best craft beer in the city is Fairweather which is a 10 minute drive from the arena (closer to the university), but hey I'll drive you!

Mezcal - great trendy mexican, great drinks and awesome tacos.. not super authentic but a fun place! (5-10 minute walk)

Born and Raised - best restaurant in the city IMO, Italian also again on James St North (5-10 minute walk)

Rise above - insane vegan food, wings and pizza! (5-10 minute walk)

The brain is a awesome cocktail and craft beer bar on James St. - 5 minute walk

Bread bar on James Street, super trendy and great local ingredient restaurant l, probably best pizza you can find!

Collective arts is another fantastic brewery which is a 5-10 minute drive but again if you need a ride I could go for a beer!

Locke st area is a great area, its where I live but you are looking at at 20-25 minute walk.

Have fun and if you need anything just ask!!
