HAMILTON ROLL CALL

I'll be there. Driving there from Toronto after work. There is TONNES of street parking in the general vicinity of FNC; it's mostly free, and it makes getting out of the city way easier. In 2012 I saw Springsteen in Hamilton; it took an hour from the time the show ended till my dad and I were back at my parents' place in east Toronto and the drive itself was like 43 minutes.
Hamilton 2011 is the only Pearl Jam show in Ontario I've missed in...22 years, I think? 17/18 or something?Hamilton 2005 was an absolute piledriver of a show. Still the best version of RitFW I've seen, a weird-ass "Porch" opener, S-K chorus for "Harvest Moon" - it was an awesome night.

I’m in for GA. Leaving from Madison day before to sister’s in Ohio, then day of, I’ll drive through Detroit and over the border to show. Can’t friggin wait. Not sure if I’ll stay the night or head back to Sister’s after show.Kudos to everyone offering travel tips, so great!0

D-Rod said:I made a list of restaurants that are within walking distance or a very short Uber ride from First Ontario Centre and all downtown hotels. I’m only going to reference establishments that I have eaten at some point and would eat at again.Bronzie’s place ( Italian)
La Cantina (Italian)
The George Hamilton restaurant
Anchor Bar ( chicken wings)
Radius ( also a night club , got thrown out once, bouncer was a jerk)
Cat n Fiddle ( English pub)
Stonewall Restaurant
Honest Lawyer ( most likely the pre and post Pearl Jam party)
Hamilton Burger ( best QSR burger place in town)
also any restaurant on Locke st like Brux House craft beers and Westtown tavern.Locke street is a nice area made up of antique shops and scratch bakeries
for any other Hamiltonians if I have missed somewhere that you could recommend please let us know.
I must say Bronzies is a god dem gem of a place on James St. 👌 It's maybe a 5-10 minute walk and the best home style pizza, family home feeling family run place in the city! Think cheers.. but hamilton.
Brux house is our favorite!
West Town for breakfast 👌
My additions would be as follows..
If you feel adventurous.. best craft beer in the city is Fairweather which is a 10 minute drive from the arena (closer to the university), but hey I'll drive you!
Mezcal - great trendy mexican, great drinks and awesome tacos.. not super authentic but a fun place! (5-10 minute walk)
Born and Raised - best restaurant in the city IMO, Italian also again on James St North (5-10 minute walk)
Rise above - insane vegan food, wings and pizza! (5-10 minute walk)
The brain is a awesome cocktail and craft beer bar on James St. - 5 minute walk
Bread bar on James Street, super trendy and great local ingredient restaurant l, probably best pizza you can find!
Collective arts is another fantastic brewery which is a 5-10 minute drive but again if you need a ride I could go for a beer!
Locke st area is a great area, its where I live but you are looking at at 20-25 minute walk.
Have fun and if you need anything just ask!!Post edited by tinz. onEV~Toronto Night 2 - 2008
