I'm driving up the morning of.  With the time zone change, we get an extra hour on the way up.  It's about a 3.5 hr drive for me.  I'll be on the road no later than 8am.
This is the plan as well.  With the kids, I won't be able to get anybody to take them Thursday night so we'll be leaving after dropping them off at school.  I'll also be taking the opportunity to pick up some post oak at the Calhoun Bucc-ees.  My birthday is only two weeks after the show, and I usually celebrate it by smoking a brisket.  That is if brisket isn't topping $10/lb by then.   :D
Not sure if you guys are in Gwinnett, but 16th is digital day for 2023. They have a few sprinkled in, and that happens to be one. Just FYI
This is amazing! I teach there and my son and I are heading up to Nashville and then on to St. Louis!

I booked yesterday at the Holiday Inn Vandy (next to Vandy football stadium).  $302 total for Friday night.

Embassy was 395. But wanted to be close if all works out. It's basically next door.

The downtown hotels are ridiculously high.   I booked a room at the Clarion by Nissan stadium.  It is walkable to the Bridgestone but some have mentioned the neighborhood is sketchy.  It is in kind of a commercial neighborhood.  We have stayed there before and are o.k. with it.  However, the price for one night is around $330.00!    But there is free parking.  Most of those right downtown are over $400.00 and you will have to pay additional for parking in most cases.   You can stay out by the airport or east of Nashville but too far to walk.  Many of the hotels in the airport area contract with a shuttle company to take guests back and forth to downtown.  They will drop off a block or two from the Bridgestone.    The last time we stayed in the airport area I think it was about $10 each round trip.   However, I'm not sure how late they pick up.  And there are a lot of people trying to catch the shuttle at the last pick up time.  And you can stay in the area of Vanderbilt.  We have, but it has been a while.  The hotel had a shuttle that dropped us off downtown but it didn't run late to pick us up.

I held my tickets from 2020 and a few days ago they updated to a date of Thursday, Feb 29 and Pearl Jam and the picture disappeared.  I'm expecting them to update to the correct date soon, but they haven't, yet.  Has anybody's Nashville tickets properly updated in Ticketmaster?

I did a Priceline express deal booking and got the Hyatt House Downtown for $250. Looks like a pretty short walk.

Of course the express deal makes it non-refundable, but I’m taking the chance and hoping it works out. Hard to plan for anything anymore.

Anyone else heading to Nashville from Canada?
Flights ridiculously cheap at the moment (450$ return from the east coast).
Staying at the Embassy Suites at Bridgestone, fingers crossed it gets finished being built (july opening date so seems to be a few dollars cheaper than other spots right there).

Mine look normal in TM now. (under Upcoming Events with new date, as opposed to under Past Events like they were previously.)

For anyone coming to the Nashville show that doesn't care about bar hopping or anything and just wants to go to the show, but wants to spend the night after the show instead of driving back home and doesn't want to spend $400/night on a hotel downtown, look at Brentwood/Cool Springs (could even go Green Hills if you want closer to downtown) if you're coming from the South. Airport area, like others have mentioned usually have shuttles downtown, if you're coming from the East. Goodlettesville/Rivergate area if coming from the North. And Bellevue area has a couple of hotels if you're coming from the West. All of these are usually like $120-$200 per night depending on the hotel if you're just wanting to stay somewhere after the show and don't care about doing anything after the show. And all of these are within about 15-20 min drive to downtown in light traffic.

Heading into downtown on a Friday afternoon isn't terrible traffic. But once you're in downtown, surface streets will be a nightmare. Nashville downtown is terrible for driving and on the weekends starting at about 7pm, they shut down Broadway which means the biggest road to travel on downtown is closed.

I'm nervous about getting tics for this show, I originally had Baltimore but sold those back in 2020. I'm in SC so Nashville is our best option. Fingers crossed we get tickets!!

I'd throw in Murfreesboro as well if your coming up from the south.  It's about a 20-30 min drive and a lot of nice hotels right off 24 (Medical Center Parkway exit). Lots of places to eat around that area too for breakfast the next morning. I'd recommend Maple Street Biscuit - it's on Medical Center as well. One of, if not THE, personal (and my wife's) favorite breakfast joints in town...
