I wonder why you can’t find the release date of the single anywhere else. Anyway here is a screenshot of the mail I’ve received Tuesday (although it’s in german). So it’s a bit more official 😉. You can follow artists on Universal Music and get notifications when there’s something new. I guess that’s why I’ve received this. So it seems it has nothing to do with ordering the Album over Universal. Says something like “Also the title of the first single which will be released on January 21st is known: Dance of the Clairvoyants”
I‘ve posted this a few pages back 😬. It’s been mentioned in this german Universal newsletter from last Tuesday.
Yeah I don't think anyone disputes that's the title of the single (kind of a cool title too if you ask me), it's just we're all curious if that clip on Bill Simmons' podcast is it.
The date of single launch is in that newsletter. That's why it was reposted by @LizJ.
Well good. I hope the single is released that day. Maybe I'll get a ticket confirmation on Sunday and on Monday I'll listen to the single dozens of times like did World Wide Suicide the day it was digitally released.
Or maybe I'll be shut out of tickets on Sunday and dislike this single like I disliked The Fixer. It could go either way I guess.

This is a real stretch but I’ll throw it out there... Bill Simmons usually starts his podcast by saying “but first our friends from Pearl Jam” and playing the intro to a live version of Corduroy. On his Thursday 1/16 podcast he says at the 2 minute mark “but first some new music” and plays this funky new wave sounding tune with a strong bass line and synthesizers, which I think lines up with some rumors of how the album will sound.
Could it be a snippet of the new single? It does not sound like something I would expect from Pearl Jam, so it’s probably not. But just thought I’d throw it out there to see what others think.
