Yeah, put the 10c request in for GA, and signup for TM verified fan.  If you dont get GA through 10c buy the show on TM.

There are a ton of people questioning this right now. But, to me this seems simple. I want GA for Baltimore, but I would take Reserved if I don't get GA. So, I selected both and then also selected the "Best Available" option. I am assuming that this is prioritizing GA over Reserved since obviously those seats are "best". I know some people would disagree about them being better, but for these purposes I think its safe to assume that "Best Available" means GA over any Reserved Seat.

agreed - just makes me warm and fuzzy to see things in writing - especially with something so important :)

That's fair, it's always a crap shoot, but will probably be easier since they're outright saying you can't resell the tix, meaning scalpers should stay away, in turn leaving more tix available for us, the fans.

I don't think verified fan is all that bad.  Its computer algoriths trying to to determining the odds that you'll actually use the tickets.   While the demand for tickets might make any attempt to buy via TM challenging, at least with Verified Fan the odds of those tickets ending up with fans should be higher.

This is how I did it too. I hope that is how it works because I am only putting in for one show. The total at the end was for one pair of tickets (plus tax/ fee).

I think GA prioritizes over Reserved. However in the past we were able to jump ahead of the GA first groups that lossed their GA pick and picked reserved as second by putting reserved as first.

Now it looks like there is no risk with picking GA.

I couldn't figure it out either, but I would be willing to trade my GA for reserved for Baltimore (if good seats from 10C) with anyone who gets them and wants GA if I get them.  Can PM if interested.

My interpretation of this is that this will mean we all have less chance of getting GA, but a significantly higher chance of getting in the building. Given that I have a decent seniority 208XXX, I am not complaining.

I am now confused. I chose 2 tickets, and then chose GA as well as Reserved seating. It shows me the price for two tickets, but I am not sure if it counts them separately (one GA, one Res) or really as a pair (either GA or Res). Does anybody know?

It has absolutely nothing to do with algorithms to determine if you'll use the seats or not.

I don't like GA for being close or anything like that. I just like the option to move around and find a better view.

There's nothing worse than having seats on the floor. I hope I don't end up with that.

Way better than the Wrigley 13 lottery debacle for sure. Exactly how a lottery should go, you get picked, then get whatever choice that is available, be it GA or Reserved. Not, you get picked but you wanted GA 1st and it’s full so we toss you back in the lottery and hope you get lucky twice

Checking both automatically checked the "best available", so I'm assuming that you get GA if available and Reserved as a backup.

THIS!....Oh my god THIS. The worst seats in the entire arena are on the floor behind GA. I am only 5'9" and I inevitably get stuck behind a bunch of 6'6" dudes. Give me any other seat in the house over floor seats. But, I love GA because you can re-position yourself so that you can see. Plus the energy in the pit is always amazing compared to seats in my opinion.

And the worst thing is, I think they consider floor seats behind GA to be "better" than seats on the side (like what the best seats in the arena would be if it was set up for hockey). I remember being at MSG in 2008, and then again in Philly the following year, and my 189xxx number landed me on the floor...but WAY back. Couldn't see shit.

I don't think so.  I'm 139,xxx and am usually in the first section on the side.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I'm not sure what you're asking but if you put in for both a pair of GA and a pair of reserved for one show, you'll only get one...and yes, that seems to be the best option to assure you get in the building. Your confirmation email from Ticketmaster should look like this.....

Thank you for this! I put in for GA only because I never saw the best available spot. Went back and re-submitted my request. Hopefully I’ll be in the building at least!

That's good to hear. Well I guess there were just so many tenclub members at those shows (not surprising for NYC and Philly) that the best for me was on the floor.
