For those wondering about the Sirius/XM show and how to enter, I just received this for Coldplay. Not interested in seeing them, but this is what I received as a Sirius/XM subscriber. Guessing PJ’s will look similar.
While we're waiting, anyone want to comment on Hamilton vs. Toronto in terms of show local preferences? That is, if you could only get one show, would you prefer to see it in Toronto or Hamilton?
Hamilton is a closer drive for me from KW, but I'm a Toronto girl at heart and would pick Toronto over Hamilton if I had to. Having said that, I'm doing both
I like the way you think! BOTH!! Toronto is closer for me too but I’d prefer the smaller venue in Hamilton!
Hamilton isn't that much smaller - about 2000 fewer seats which doesn't sound like much when you look at 19,000 vs 17,000 capacity. Either way, Hamilton will be great
Agreed!! Now lets just get a confirmation already lol

Personally I dont have a preference ..........parking is cheaper in hamilton though! I imagine they will both be really high demand shows though, especially if Toronto is only getting 1 night this time. Im aiming for shows in both Hamilton and Toronto if possible.
You and me both! I see youre in Sutton, Im in the Wick!

One winner?
One Grand Prize winner, who gets full flight/accommodations. Then they usually send out emails for contests to a zip code radius for others to enter for tickets only.
Hope I'm wrong, but no social media teasers, no screenshots of shows loaded prematurely on Ticketmaster or other ticketing sites, etc makes me think the announcement isn't today.

When I got that email I got sort of excited that it was for Pearl Jam. Alas, Cold Play.
Might be graspin at straws here, but if we are looking for hints indicating an impending announcement, is it a coincidence that the PJ instagram in the last two days have posted pictures that feature NY (MSG and Letterman) and Denver, CO, two cities seemingly confirmed for the spring leg?

Skipping Montreal strikes me as odd as well: a great city with a passionate fan base. Though a QC show would be much better for you, no?
(Love the username - last night I watched The Hip's final show for the umpteenth time and still got chills during that song.)

Can I just say how great it is every day to come to this board and get excited about tour! The wait is sometimes the best parts. Each day I check email first thing in the morning and then visit this site 8-10 times a day lol.

Cant believe it's well over 2 years. Gord sounds so alive on those Hip records.

Holy fuck if they break out a Hip song in Canada. That is going to be a fuck loud moment if that ever happens.
I would assume Montreal and Quebec City has to be pretty much the same crowd too wouldn't it be? On a Sunday night I would imagine a lot of people are going to make that trip.

I'm thinking it must be a logistics / booking issue that couldn't be helped, because it's always a great crowd. Also Montreal is a fantastic city to visit. Haha thanks, LOVE to play that song on guitar. I miss them terribly already...they obviously played a ton on the East Coast leg of their tours, saw them many times over the years.

I will surely do the trip. Sugar shack with family booked at 11am near Montreal, then 2 hour drive to Qc, stomach full and ready to absorb another gem like the May 2016 concert they gave us. Weather permitting, I'll extend the trip on Monday with some ski (hopefully Spring skiing, but who knows at that time of year...).

Tuesday for the announcement and presale open, followed by Friday for the draw and Monday for the public sale?
And we know for a fact that the public sale and (apparently) album announcement are the 13th or is this just a rumor?
