If it's expensive to take gear and setup down under for many shows, it must be crazy expensive to take it to Hawaii for one or two shows.

Hawaii in February would seem impossible with January announcement. Ed lives in Hawaii so I don’t think it means much that he would be at an event there that is featuring other prominent musicians.0
