I am pretty happy that this is the direction Biden is going.
Yeah, I’m cool with whatever works, but yeah, unlikely it’s Tulsi. Maybe Warren would be best pick, she has woke cred and Bernie people would like that, but she has some negatives as well. Amy is probably my top choice, Harris second.

For me it's Warren, Harris then Amy.

But a friend mentioned Warren as Senate Majority leader and that would be pretty awesome. Also I think Biden has already kinda ruled her out publicly.

Massachusetts has a Republican governor.  I believe he would be able to name the temporary replacement.  If so,  then you can count out Warren

We missed the whole thing with all the other shit going down today.  Was there any basic consensus of thought about the debate earlier tonight?  Any thing that stood out?

Bernie had Biden on the ropes double-talking and telling everyone to “go to youtube to see for themselves” pertaining to his lies.

Then Biden of course went to guns, gay marriage and gender, saying that he would have a female VP—which as expected is the main headline takeway that the press is runnig with.

Also, when referring to the coronavirus Biden said “we’ve been down this road before with coronavirus and um, excuse me I mean N1HN...”

He also asked Bernie “what’s a revolution gonna do”...

I’m concerned about Bernie. I think he referred to Obama as Bush at one point, and referred to Coronavirus as Ebola about 4 times.

I thought it was kinda funny when Bernie kept attacking Joe for corporate contributions to his campaign  and Biden reminded everyone that he is winning while having much less money on hand.

This is fantastic. It's seeming more and more like Sanders knows he's not going to win, but wants to get commitments from the Biden campaign to include more progressive policies before he drops out. This is the right time to use this leverage, and arguably the USA will never be more receptive of M4A than they would be right now.

Bernie:  I don't have any answers, but I have a lot of questions . Here are my complaints. Now what are you going to do about it Joe?
Biden:  Here's a list of specific items I have accomplished to address your complaints, and what I plan to do going forward.
Bernie:  But you didn't do enoooouuuugh.  Also, I voted against everything you just said.

    hahaha
I thought Bernie came off really annoying. Smirking, making weird facial expressions. Trying to listen to Biden's responses, it was kind of distracting.

Tammy Baldwin would be someone worth thinking about too. Wisconsin is hugely important, obviously

Is she eligible? She was born in Thailand, I think, but her father was in army or something.
Otherwise she would be an excellent choice.

Agree, here.  Warren should be last on most any list of women to be VP, unless she is somehow the silver bullet that they believe will get Joe the win....in which case she should be first.
Strictly based on age -- go ahead and take shots, but I want the running mate chosen by Joe to be someone who is not 70+.
I think Amy would be the best choice from that list.

    Tulsi, haha.
I like her. She actually never said anything bad about Joe and seemed complimentary when asked, so I figured they could work well together.
I like her too. And she's pretty moderate (even appears on Fox News sometimes), and a military veteran so maybe she can pull in some independents. And, she's relatively unknown despite her "presidential campaign" so she isn't liked or loathed like some of the other candidates.

That said, it won't be her.

I just hope it's not Warren or Harris, because I can't stand either of them. Klobuchar, Gillibrand, or even Hillary would be good. It definitely won't be Hillary, but if she didn't already run in 2016, she'd be the perfect running-mate for Biden.
