How would Pete survive in a debate against Trump?

Bernie certainly yells loud and acts like an jerk all the time, I agree.
Yeah Bernie's best strategy is too just be louder and shout over the other candidates.  Freaking annoying as hell.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

I saw the Lion King on Broadway.  It was probably a more adult experience.
I watched maybe three or four minutes before I switched the channel in disgust.  Rangers had a big win last night!!

So, I watched part of the debate with someone that is right leaning moderate.  Wants to vote Democrat.  When Warren went after bloomberg for helping re-elected Lindsey G and talked about how he supported Repub and Dem candidates alike.  They said "Isn't that a good thing? Don't you need to work with both?"

I think there's a difference between a Democrat working with a Republican already in office vs. giving a Republican a pile of money to help in his campaign to defeat a Democrat

NYC needs it's fair share of funding from congress.

Per capita, NY always gets the short end of the financial stick (like PJ concerts per capita)

That's why he built relationships with both parties FFS warren.
But Lindsey Graham? He wouldn't be able to build a relationship with whomever challenged him, be it another Republican in the primary or the Democrat?

My take and final choice after tonight's debate:

Bloomberg:  Better this debate but still, Can't Buy Me Love.
Warren:  Not looking very presidential these days.  Sorry, Liz.  Stay in congress where we need you!
Bernie:  Takes the lead (for my vote) by a nose in the final round.  I really liked his answers to the misunderstanding/motto question.
Biden:  Have great golden years, Joe, you deserve them.  But not as president.
Pete:  Pete blew it for me with what I saw as arrogant posturing and ridiculous bating/misunderstanding over the Cuba thing.
Klobuchar.  Amy, Amy, Amy.  I had hopes but a few too many stumbles for me.  Try again next time!
Steyer:  A good try, but not my choice.
I agree with most of this.

SC's OFFICIAL ranking of the SC debate:

    1.
Biden: People saying Bernie yells need to point the finger at Biden too. But his anger worked here even though he is still leaning solely on what he has done (being Obamas friend and some bills in the past) over an inspiring idea about the future. Him always talking about how he never gets to talk is just weird. But it was in the end his debate.

    2.
Bernie: Stood his ground a lot better against all the attacks than I would have thought. Didn't feel like anyone got in a fatal blow. Going on with the same lines without any new spin to them. Unnecessary getting dragged into the Fidel Castro-thing. I do however believe something has changed in his approach, because he was very calm, forthcoming and soft spoken both in the CBS interview following the debate and in his interview with CNN.

    3.
Warren: Going all in on what worked last time - attacking Bloomberg. Felt like a tired modern day remake of a 80s horror classic at times. Still sharp. But feels a bit to panicky eager to not disappear into the background.

    4.
Steyer: Seems to say a lot of sound things. But every time he shows up it's like talking to a stranger at a party you will never meet again.

    5.
Pete: So, now he's lifting Bidens thing about Bernie not being able to flip the Senate? Is there anything about this man not taken from someone else? Also his pre-written platitudes make him come of as very scripted. No matter how many "We can't look to the old people for a vision of the future, we need to look to the future and the vision of the young" wordplays you throw out. Him going against Bernie's plans because of them being more left than Denmarks instead of with some tired "we can't afford it in the richest country in the world" or "it is not what the bald eagles in the sky wants America to do" was the most fatal blow at the debate. And to my knowledge he had not stolen it from somewhere.

    6.
Amy: She's pretty much Steyer but who once got fifteen minutes of surge. Says the same things as always. Over and over. I'm done with her.

    7.
Bloomberg: Shitty person and comes of as ingenuine. Also saying the US can't afford healthcare for it's people when every major country in the world can. I laughed out loud at work. Greed over the very baseline of a humane society. Am I Rite Bloomy.

This is an especially great take considering Russian is our #1 adversary and attacking our elections.  It is another cold war we just aren't participating yet.  Kinda as bad as when Obama laughed at Romney for saying Russia was the greatest threat...and then obama doubled down by doing nothing to stop it.  And now we have an idiot that welcomes it.

Anyone under 15%, which is the minimum needed to be awarded delegates, should be out by next Wednesday.

The debates are a mess partially because there is STILL 7 of them yelling at once.

I would, like CNN did, blame that on the moderators. I think the yelling will be present as long as Biden, Bernie and Steyer is in the race. No matter how few they are. Haha.

Why not just mute every mic but the one speaking? To much work? Or do they want the sport-thing with the yelling, and the "viral moments" and the audience cheering?

This is pretty funny by the way:

debates and intelligence don't matter to trumpsters, that has been obvious for some time. the republicans tried to fight against it, but the idiot mob was just too big, so they decided to embrace it instead of getting eaten up by it.

go back and watch the debates, linda. he was a rambling gasbag that was out of his league. he did nothing but give "I know you are, but what am I" retorts and screaming "WRONG" into the mic. And all you trumpsters called that "killing it".

trumpsters brag about fox "news" beating out all other cable news shows. yeah, COPS also dominates ratings. So does american idol. the dumbing down of your country and our society as a whole is nothing to be spouting off praise about.

you people would rather have Nelson Muntz in the white house than Martin Prince. And most people with half a brain will never understand it.

    No need to worry.

    Their saviour is coming.

The United Nations World Happiness Report shows that the happiest nations are concentrated in social democratic nations, especially in Northern Europe, where the Nordic model is dominant. This is at times attributed to the success of the Nordic model in the region, where similar democratic socialistlabourist and social democratic parties dominated the region's political scene and laid the ground to their universalistic welfare states in the 20th century. The Nordic countries, including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden as well as Greenland and the Faroe Islands, also ranked highest on the metrics of real GDP per capitaeconomic equalitypublic healthlife expectancyhaving someone to count on, perceived freedom to make life choicesgenerosityquality of life and human development while countries practicing a neoliberal form of government have registered relatively poorer results.[436][437] Similar reports have likewise listed Scandinavian and other social democratic countries as ranking high on indicators such as civil liberties,[438] democracy,[439] press,[440] labour and economic freedoms,[441][442] peace[443] and freedom from corruption.[444] Numerous studies and surveys indicate that people tend to live happier lives in countries ruled by social democratic parties, compared to countries ruled by neoliberal, centrist, or right-wing governments.[445][446][447][448]

Democrats....the gift that keeps on giving.  I can’t wait to watch The President debate one of these  mushbrains who wins the Democratic nomination.  I am hoping it’s Bernie....better have a defibrillator at the ready
Your president is almost unintelligible in conversation, and like most cowards, doesn't put himself in situations where he has to confront dissent (especially not of the reasonable variety). If Trump does what his character suggests he will, he simply won't show up and will throw cheap punches from behind his Twitter account like he usually does, and you'll undoubtedly be right back here then to proudly declare the genius of your fearless leader.

Thank you for always sharing your hubris so freely on here.
Yeah, he wont debate. He's a giant pussy.
Please don't insult those. They are my favorite.
Yes, and we're all ages here so please....
    Thanks.
I agree, think of the CHILDREN!
