I'm neither assuming nor expecting anything.  I'll be parking my butt in a cold, cold line next Friday to try to get a copy.  If Ten Club hits us with a color version later, I'll buy it and sell the black. Not like there suddenly won't be demand for Pearl Jam vinyl.

13,000 is an incredibly high number.... if you don't end up with one of these... you really didn't try.

Exactly. It seems pretty unflippable, which is tops for us who just want a copy to spin.

    And I think 13,000 is a mistake.
I'm sort of a pessimist lol

Just pulled up the show on YouTube and listened to it.  You all are going to lose your minds when you finally hear these songs from 28 years ago.

How many copies on vinyl has Nirvana Unplugged sold? This is the only official format available for the Pearl Jam MTV Unplugged show. (not talking DVD version) 13,000 may be harder to get than you think. Perhaps casual classic rock music fans in line will be  inclined to pick one up, or those who have Nirvana and Alice In Chains Unplugged and want to complete the series.

13,000 is a TON.  My local shop owner already had his copies today.  He said he received as many as he ordered. That usually doesn't happen to smaller shops.

Wish i could’ve asked if it was gatefold or not.

I've been RSDing since the second one. Given the amount, I think for most people who want a copy, they will be able to get one. And if you can't get one within a week of Black Friday. Wait a month or two (probably past the holidays) and discogs and ebay will have these available at retail cost or $5 higher before long (many RSD releases are like this, even the ones that only have 3k, 5k pressed).

    DO NOT OVERPAY FOR THIS!

Thinking about it, this probably is the PJ recording I listened to the most. Mainly because that was basically my first taste of PJ back in the day. I will forever be grateful to Mike because this perfomance got me hooked to the pentatonic scale and really helped me improve as a guitarist. I basically learned it from him while learnig his solos from this TV show. SOLAT acoustic is still to this day my favorite thing to play, with a flawless acoustic guitar solo. That three-note section at the start of the outro solo was hard as hell for 13yo me with just few months of guitar up my back. Anyway, a bummer they now failed two times in a row to release the whole unedited performance. But I can't say no to the performance that broke my PJ virginity.

I definitely wont miss RITFW.   I like the VMAs version but other than that i usually skip it on every bootleg.  I get the fact that people want the complete show tho.

Does anyone know if this was recorded to tape or digital? If so, do you know any other nerdy details about the recording process, how the mix was done, who did the mastering, etc? What about where this thing is being pressed? Interested in this show's provenance as a recorded document. It's one of the most important musical events of my teens (maybe lifetime) and i hope they're giving it the treatment it deserves.
