No. You’re wrong. This will be extremely easy to get.
We”ll see. I walked in and out with my copy, no line. There were about 12 left at that time too. Worldwide demand driving up prices.

Never went in a store during Black Friday. I find it the stupidest day of the year..
I really enjoyed that PJ performance.. and decided to go to get a copy of that LP. I got lucky with PJ and got many of their rare LPs over the years. I was buying LPs before the hype and made a major collection of VG+/NM Lps. I am happy it came back, since bands released stuff you could not find back in that time.
People were pushing, buying any LPs they could get a hand on.. whatever they liked it or not.
Not going back on a black friday event next year.. I really did not enjoy it..
Fun to watch those videos on youtube though.. thanks america for that

Once again stupid fucking RSD exclusives. Get to my store 30 minutes after opening...PJ gone. Text my friend at another local store...all gone. Leave and drive down to Vintage Vinyl (biggest store in STL) all gone. I have grown to hate RSD. I buy vinyl all year long (and open and listen to them). Now I have to try and hunt down one of my favorites PJ shows on vinyl. SO FUCKING STUPID.
No one is making anyone participate in this process. If you hate it then don’t participate. It’s simple really.
Oh gee thanks captain. Sorry I’m disappointed that I didn’t get the one record I wanted. And sorry I hate flippers. I still enjoyed the day and saw a couple fun bands play. Thanks for simplifying for me though.
I would agree with you. I get the purpose of supporting local stores, but I don’t understand why they need limited vinyl to do it that creates such crazy shopping experiences. If they really wanted to support local stores wouldn’t they make enough copies, and not support the quick resale? It seems more like trying to feed into the vinyl hype than truly supporting local stores.
I’ve been listening to vinyl since middle school. I was in 7th grade when Vitalogy came out and only had a copy on vinyl for a few years before I got the CD.
To me this is a fad for most people. I decided to get to my store half an hour after they opened and take my chances because I don’t want to deal with big lines. They had about 5 left when I got there. They said they’ve been selling a lot, they just received a ton. Like many said I don’t think you’ll have a problem finding one online in a few days for $30.
they also have copies of Les Claypool’s, Buckley, the Doors, etc. those seem to be face value whereas PJ’s price tag has been increased a bit
Gl
$49.99CDN? Flipping them $20 dollars more a pop. They suck!
i know... just passing along info. As I said, prices seem decent for other items. Getting Frogs from them. I’m surprised that they have copies to sell. Montreal only had 2 copies in total!
Was 4th in line at Ka-Chunk! in Annapolis. First 5 in line got their list guaranteed so it was an easy score. Got Saturday Morning Cartoons as well. EDIT: Paid $25 USD
I feel like the last 2 newsletters highlighted the point that they were RSD exclusives and I took that to mean the 10c shop wont have them. Granted nothing was explicitly said so anything can happen I guess. I just thought it was odd to specifically point out that it was an "RSD Exclusive" rather than just saying "Out on Black Friday RSD at your local shop".

Exactly. As someone that has supported local shops all year for the last 25 years it’s pretty irritating to not be able to buy these “exclusive” releases. I’m trying to spend money and can’t!
With a larger pressing and people being told in some manner more are coming later, I would bet we'll get it via 10c eventually. Just look at Easy Street sitting out there now.
