I love dead man! I find it really haunting if not „epic“ though

Sleight of Hand is in my top 10.
Sleight of hand is in my bottom five.
Wow, seriously? That being you still like it or not at all?
I don't think we'll ever understand the enigma that is McGruff.

I agree. Those 2000 versions were haunting.

I also love Deadman. Such a simple tune and so beautiful, especially the guitar ditty to end it.

Love the opening riff of HTI:

I remember the first time I found this song on one of those illegal file sharing sites and downloaded it, I was blown away and couldn't believe a song like this had never surfaced on an official release. I found a lot of rare PJ songs that way back in the early days of the internet. Thank goodness for Lost Dogs.

Is that why you couldn't vote during the Lynyrd Skynyrd weakest link polls?

Yeah Present Tense is an odd one because it changes tempo halfway through. Also Long Road is another great song I missed.

This thread has taken an interesting turn. It makes me think...does PJ have a better catalog of rockers or slow songs? Not more extensive, but better. 🤔

For me it’s definitely the slow songs that are in the majority. Sure I love songs like Evolution to death but the depth of their slow songs is astonishing. Plus even most of their rocking songs are not that hard rocking. Which works for me

I find it interesting that there's hasn't been any mention of two of their most famous "slow tunes" (Small Town and Daughter) as of yet.

Top five slow songs for me...
    Immortality
    Indifference
    Long Road
    Parting Ways
Daughter (still love it but the "It's Okay" tag is what brings it to this level)

(I'd probably move out the bottom two if we are counting Present Tense and I Got Id)

Same as Black (mentioned once). Maybe they’re kind of taken for granted/ go without saying?!
