Absolutely amazing song that brings me in to the zone when I listen to it. I just checked my play counts and Benaroya Hall is hands down the leader for my go to version. I do love the Melbourne '98 one though. I could probably play I Got ID, Not For You and Immortality on repeat forever from that era.

  • Seattle II was awesome. I remember I was itching to get beer. Just before they started playing it... I was teetering on making the trek. Of course, I waited. I left right after (the perfect time to go given I'd need 4 songs to get back- I'm Open, Unthought Known, Can't Deny Me).

The stars were aligned for me that great night.

Admittedly, I much prefer the live versions to the fade out at the end of the studio version.

I am all about any version of Immortality, it is one of the better songs not just of the band, but of rock.
His eminence has yet to show.

The amount of times i've watched this is ridiculous, so amazing that tone of that guitar he is just using for messing around and his like hoarse voice

Unfortunately, no. Aside from the one show I saw in 1998, I didn't start attending PJ shows regularly until 2011.
Yes, I missed out on A LOT during those 13 years!

Damn it! They should re-release this on regular black vinyl. If they ever had a desire to make a ton of money for charity, also release a full video of this show. They could make so much money off of the many combinations that show could be released; colored vinyl, video, combo packs of both with swag...the possibilities are endless.

  • I always go back and forth between
    Immortality & Nothingman.
    Both have perfect vocals.

This will blow you up, some.
This song is not even in my top 5 for that record.
Not even my favorite slow jam on that record

It is a fucking awesome song - on an incredibly awesome album.
Funny, I’m thinking the same thing
