There's a rumour that amazing Brad singer Shawn Smith has died? Does anyone know if this is true and what happened??

    Nothing on the internet about it but have seen a few posts on Facebook saying he has passed.

    The word is he passed in his sleep from complications of diabetes which he had been battling for a long time. The world lost a true talent. He had an incredible voice. 
    I have no patience for bad music and stupid people...

    Such sad and awful news. Shawn's music was always a huge inspiration to my wife and me. A few months ago, I talked with Shawn and he graciously recorded vocals for a song on my band's upcoming EP. Now, I feel weird releasing it without him around. RIP pal, you will be missed by many.

    Such an INCREDIBLE talent...
    The Day Brings is one of my all time favorite songs!!
    Seeing Shawn play Brad hits & covering Crown Of Thorns & Purple Rain,
    live in a barn in Central Ohio is one of my greatest concert memories.
    I'll never forget how genuine he was & so happy we have his music to remember him forever!!
