by name, Stetson Fleming Bennett IV might suffer from that, too, but I don’t know.

Good riddance. Not a playoff caliber team. At all.
There is not one untouchable player on this roster. We need a QB.
Judon Duggar Uche Andrews Barmore Stephenson Marcus Jones
That's about it. They'll stick with Mac, doesn't make sense to give up on the guy, he's still got 3 inexpensive years left (if they pick up the 5th year option). He looked good in spurts today, he can be serviceable, but needs a lot around him akin to what Miami and Philly have done for other middling former Bama QBs.
Don’t think anyone is untouchable on this team, however they won’t give up on recent draft picks of course. If someone offers 2 first rounders for Judon, you pull the trigger
Loved the draft and the off-season moves. Sure there are some question marks, but I have one word for what I expect out the Pats D next year - STIFLING.
It’s interesting, while the rest of the league is trying to out score each other, BB is zagging (which he always does). Is he ahead of the curve or an old football dinosaur past his prime? Be fun to watch… love good smash mouth football.
I think my question above has been answered. This defence could be all-world but if your offence can’t score points and turns the ball over it’s a nightmare.
Mac Jones isn’t the answer. There will be a lot of changes this off-season. I doubt BB is back.
Yeah, Belichick needs to be put out to pasture. And Mac Jones needs to be released. Dude looked so checked out on the sidelines, even early in the game when it was still theoretically (though clearly not realistically) within reach. Go 1-16 and hope Carolina wins a game or 2 and draft Caleb Williams. This team makes the Hugh Millen led teams of the early 90's look like world beaters by comparison.
😂😂. I am interested in seeing how many Pats fans are going to be left. Half of them became temporary Bucs fans. Half of what was left are now hoping to avoid time on injured reserve jumping off the bandwagon. I already see a lot fewer hats, shirts and jerseys

I think we see a few years where Boston is like the 80's and Celtics are at the top of the food chain. You'll see more shamrock shirts & hats and less flying Elvii.
I'm not going anywhere. Are they must see TV right now? Hell friggin no... I may not be in my seat for every snap like I used to but I'll never root for anyone else over them.
More than anything else, I'm over the histrionics of being a Boston sports fan. Sports talk radio has poisoned this fan base something fierce... you see as many people in the last 10 years rooting for the sports radio guys and their hot takes as you do for the teams themselves. Fans are almost gleeful when they lose so they or their sports radio guys can be proven right. It's such a weird dynamic I never would have imagined. The amount of people in this town calling for Belichick's head also amazes me... his successes will always loom larger for me than his failures, but a lot of people have that "what have you done for me lately" mentality that's hard to shake.
I wouldn't trade the titles (or more importantly the great times watching the title runs) for anything in the world... having said that, the success of the Red Sox and Patriots over the last 20 years have in a lot of ways ruined being a Boston sports fan. The entitlement in the fan base is beyond belief.
I suffered for decades as a New England fan of the Sox, bruins, Celtics and Pats. I could give a shit if I ever see any of them win a title in my lifetime again. I had two decades of an amazing run, unmatched by any other state or region’s sports team collective or fan base. I’ll continue to root for them and hope they win but if not, I can die happy and not wondering if I’ll live long enough to see them hoist a trophy. I had friends who lived to see some, but not all, of that two decades worth of greatness.

This…. If I never see another title in my life, I’ll still die a happy sports fan.
probably ought to change the title of this thread, though.
