well they did repeat about 9 or more songs

Consider yourself lucky and blessed...Most bands play the exact same show every night all tour long!! The only other band that comes close to mixing up their set lists like PJ was the Grateful Dead and we all know they are long gone :-(

My advice depends on whether you have a Troy-Chicago '98 poster. :p

I was just looking for someone to relate to, not a majority of a-holes.
Taka a nice walk down Bearskin Neck and think things over...you'll realize that the setlists in Mansfield had plenty of difference, and the only issue with the shows was the curfew, which is really out of the band's hands...fines are much more severe than in 2003.

They're still the best live bang for your buck.

Awww I feel so bad for you. Maybe Eddie should play a free show inside your living room to make it up to you. I hope he does because I'll really miss you being a member of 10C with us.

    Please stay... PLEASE!!!!!

Well I had said it wasnt just the setlist. But anyway thanks for all the positive support and happy thoughts. I think ill keep my membership which is a pretty decent number and just sell my tickets to scalpers at the shows. And maybe ill try for the ed solo tickets friday on ticketucker and if I get any sell them for really obscene prices on ebay!

    Thanks again

I was just looking for someone to relate to, not a majority of a-holes.

Hey, I actually understand where you're coming from. Well, maybe not as much with the setlist issues, it's bound to happen when we go to so many shows. We just gotta remember that we're spoiled & not everyone can go to multiples, so you're bound to get repeats. I do however understand your frustrations with 10club. I'm considering not renewing my membership after the Hartford nonsense, missing most of that amazing setlist...& when I emailed & asked for a refund & got a standard reply that said they couldn't give me a refund because "all sales are final."....WTF? *I* didn't get the "product" I purchased...how can that be a final sale??? They were generous enough however to offer me a free download of the show I missed for my "frustrations!" (not even a real copy...a fuckin a dl, Why? so I can listen & be reminded & even more pissed of what I missed while I was standing in the horrendous line OUTSIDE the venue???...OR I had the option of a free year membership to the 10club! Wow, what a bargain!!! They don't take care of their custs. & then offer their piss poor service as my compensation??? I got screwed last tour when they screwed up my tix, & again this tour. I don't think I will feel confident ordering tix through them again. I'd rather have a lawn seat in hand & KNOW I'm seeing the show.

Anyway, good luck if you're trying TM for the shows...but be prepared I imagine both nights will be very similar. ;)

"disgusted" is a little harsh, even for your opinion, don't you think?

Wouldnt "disappointed" be a better word?

Whatever, its your call. cancel that membership.

I feel for the OP. I really do. Not ten minutes ago, I started playing No Code, and it was the exact same 13 songs it always was! How fucking lazy are this band!?!? All I want is some variety. Seriously, PJ, get your shit together.

I've tried to group mine kinda like yours but it doesnt let me... :S
It tells me I've gone over the max amount of characters permitted... I'm either gonna have to change my siggy or stop going to shows all together...(probably the latter though) :D

The latter would be you not going to shows. No more shows??

I understand you are upset, and giving the finger to the band and the tenclub and cancelling your membership has crossed your mind. But you are a complete moron to post those types of feelings on this board. I get upset and pissed when I can't get tickets to a show but I have never considered to not renew my membership. I have been blessed to see many shows and travel and sleep in my car and party at bars in small towns I will never visit again. Relax, this will pass and when the next tour comes around don't be a bitch if you go to 6 or 7 shows in a row and you hear the same songs. Be happy you were there and don't be one that crys when the band calls it quits and you regreted going to shows.

disgusted is a pretty strong word. would i have loved it if they played every single song i never heard live before in one set? sure! i'd also love for the band to bake me a cake and deliver it to me all riding one big ass unicorn.

i just enjoyed the shows instead :D

for this last tour, i wasnt' even planning to attend any shows, ended up doing 5, and i don't regret a single second of any of them. it's so much more than just the setlist, it's the crowd, the people you share it with, how you spend your time around the shows, all of it. all part of it. it's not just seeing shows, it's the whole experience :)

There are plenty of jam bands (Widespread, Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's, etc.) other than the Dead that mix their setlist's up. I used to follow Phish around and you could see 5 shows in a row and maybe hear 3 repeats... and they would play two full sets plus an encore at each show.

And to the OP.. if you're such a big PJ fan then you would know that they tend to repeat a lot of their songs throughout their tour. Quit whining..
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

I don't know if its that I am just getting older or what the deal might be. I saw PJ this tour 8 times and it just didnt feel the same. It did at times but it never lasted like it has before. I was very upset over the boston shows thinking there might be something special happening. But night 2 I walked out at the end just so disgusted with the setlist being so similar to the first night. Hartford I thought was a much better show, and then Eddie saying they would play past curfew which ended up being a lie.

Then to top it off the whole ticket issue today for the shows. I tried for both solo shows 45 minutes for the first one and almost 2 hours for the second. Poor planing and a poor system they run here.

I guess the whole teaming up with Verizon, basically starting with Guaranteed for whatever they did with Verizon. But come on was that shit really ment to be put out there on a new technological platform? Its a kick in the face to its meaning.
