I’m holding off on reading the books until the series finishes. I am so in love with A Song of Ice and Fire series that I could not watch GoT. I tried the first season, which I was so excited for, and found that I preferred the books and my own imagination."What the CANUCK happened?!? - Esquimalt Barber Shop0

Wes Anderson isn't involved with the show. A few of the characters are just kooky individuals and remind me of Wes Anderson characters.
My manner of speaking has completely changed since I watched that show. It's brilliantly written, and the music is double great.

Lol, cheers! Same for me with finding other fans. PJ and Patriot are the two things I try to get my friends into, so it's great to find someone readymade who likes both those things
Not Amazon but I would also recommend Perpetual Grace Ltd by the same guy who created Patriot (Steve Conrad). It's got a lot of the same cast, and there are some neat Easter Egg callbacks to things that happened in Patriot, which are cool.
And for something different, Counterpart on Starz is very well done too.0 -

I just started watching the pilot of Perpetual Grace LTD and I've already laughed several times. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I didn't know that this show had the same creator or I would've watched it already!
If you have Hulu, Fargo seasons 1-3 are available for streaming. I love that show. Can't wait for season 4 in 2020!0 -

If you like smart sci-fi with complicated relationships and factional divisions, this is the show for you. All four seasons available, And importantly, there is definitely a season five coming. It's a hopeless situation...0

Glad to see Season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel out. Through 3 episodes so far. The first two were some of the least funniest, still had great moments, but episode 3 was back in top form. I love the addition of Sterling K. Brown as Shy's manager. He is great.Post edited by tbergs onIt's a hopeless situation...0

I'm very late to discovering Mrs Maisel, but
I've been bingeing on it, I'm loving it!0 -
Patriot is quirky, irreverent, laugh out loud funny and heart-breakingly devastating. Thanks for the recommendation. It had been in my watchlist for a while. Glad I was finally able to sit down and watch it. Wish there were more seasons."What the CANUCK happened?!? - Esquimalt Barber Shop0

Rewatched this yesterday with my mother and brother. NO ONE is as boring as Steven Seagal.

My niece and nephew wanted to watch Spaceballs on Christmas Eve. We made it about 8 minutes and all five of us agreed this is terrible and must end.0

In Patriot the characters, even the seemingly asshole ones, cared about others and made honest attempts to connect."What the CANUCK happened?!? - Esquimalt Barber Shop0
