The thing is he’s got a couple of interesting products (those middle 2 Teslas and starlink), but he’s such a dweeb I have zero interest is being tangentially associated in any way with the guy.

I'm not going to argue Elon is not smart. I'm going to argue that deep down, he is a complete and utter insecure loser, probably dating back to his high school days at least. Of all the billionaires, he is the clearly the most starved for attention. Type of dude that would be a neckbeard incel had he not struck it rich.

As for his politics... every American should be absolutely disgusted by what has happened this week. An unelected foreign national essentially just bribed the House to derail a bipartisan bill, and our spineless politicians (looking at you Mike Johnson) are enabling it. Twitter is now an absolute cesspool of the stupidest people you will ever see, all egging each other on.

We are circling the drain. Greed has absolutely destroyed our country.

    100% great post.

So now that Elon has showed the world how easy it was to buy a president from within our country other billionaires can now use this as their blueprint for the future!

Probably not stated correctly but I mean how easy it was and how musky acts as if he’s running the show because of his contributions to the campaign in other words he’s cashing in for his 45$ million or whatever the amount was.

  • New talking points have dropped.  Go get ‘em guys and gals.
Go ahead and explain to me why what he did this week was acceptable. Bet you can’t. But hey you totally cooked us with that meme!!
What did he do besides voice his opinion like anyone else?  You guys really don’t like descent. Lol
Dropped out of college, violating the terms of his visa, thus becoming an illegal, having 6 kids with 3 different women, enjoys a “unique” relationship with Putin on the ritz, endorsed a far right Nazi party, runs a shit car company, spent $278,000,000 to elect repubs and torpedoed bipartisan legislation with threats to primary Repubs who voted for the bill because he had a personal stake at risk. And he’s a total douche and boor.

I’ll descend into dissent and dissension  against Elongitaint and his Nazi ilk all day, every day.

even went so far as to say hes as close to being  president as a foreign born citizen can be on a podcast.....
The ROI on that number is worth it alone, by removing the China investment limitations from the original bill. 22% of Teslas revenue is from China and he is trying to build more factories there too. But I am confident he puts America first and cares about people like me.

Shares of Tesla went up immediately after POOTWH was elected, garnering Elongitaint $2,000,000,000 in new net worth. He only spent $278,000,000 to elect Repubs. But yea, he cares about you.

and you were well within the service agreement you had to agree to to sign up right?

are you one who sees free speech as absolute?

We are free to say what we want. When we do, we really should be ready to accept the consequences of those choices.

consequences do not equate to censoship.

so a private company, changed terms, as is their right with their property, and you were censored?

you do know  the first amendment free speech rights mean its THE GOVERNMENT that cannot infringe on your speech rights. private companies can do what they wish with their property. as you can with yours, to a point....

I just want to be clear.. you believe private businesses do not have the right to moderate their users.  Do I have that correct?

And you're saying that the ONLY way you can speak freely is by having access to products that some other private entity built.  Without those products, you lose your free speech.

It happened to me and millions of other conservatives.  Anyone who didn’t trumpet the govt narrative was banned for making the most benign posts.  That’s why Elon buying twitter and bringing back free speech to the platform was a game changer.

It blows me away that you still don’t understand the incredibly basic concept of free speech.

Conservatives were banned there for the same reason they get banned here: mis/disinformation, threatening other users, etc.

do you want elon to buy a movie theatre to bring back the ability to scream “fire” as you see fit?

I would believe it if I saw the post that was flagged and the follow up ban message. One message doesn’t get you banned. If it was one message, it must have been laced with threats or other inappropriate things.

Also, the belief that Twitter is now some free speech utopia is hilarious.
