That's a ridiculous thing to say. Bots make up a ton of activity and most people likely get on x to post about non news items.
These folks are consistent with their logical inconsistencies. It's seriously not worth engaging - their MO is not to teach or discuss, it's to piss people off.
Legacy Media Inc. doesn’t get to set the narratives anymore.  People have had enough of the lies and gaslighting.
You need a new buzzword. Legacy media doesn't mean shit

Seriously, get a life. You feel the need to come here continually to spike the football? Your guy won by 1.6%, it happens. GDP, Unemployment and inflation data has been excellent the last two years, so good luck, one false move and your team is out.
Well said and the false moves look like they will happen on day 1. If things play out like most economists expects, it’ll be fun to watch the Magats try and spin it.

A combo of what you want to hear and what Elon wants you to hear.

The owner of "the news now" is going to be a part of the administration. That should be concerning regardless of where you are on the political spectrum.

And something else from Heather's letter for those here who follow X (I sure don't) to consider:
"Sever added: “The social media site X has become the preferred vector for conspiracy theories, racism, far-right ideas and misogynistic rhetoric. X is a platform that no longer serves the public interest at all, but the special ideological and financial interests of its owner and his political allies.”

I would be extremely surprised if EM hadn’t already thought about and talked this with his team. Pretty sure I even saw that he or another space rocket company was working on a model whose goal was to orbit and pick up debris as it went.

Edit: to add to this, this wouldn’t be an altruistic act. Space debris is no good for a satellite company.

Yeah, certainly not a drop of altruism in that man's body. He has 79% voting control of Starlink which alone has 6,764 satellites in orbit and they plan on eventually having 42,000 in its network.  But no plans to clean up space junk that I know of.
I did some reading up on removing space debris.  There are some proposed methods, but nothing is being done about it thus far.  If a big enough event were to occur like ISS get smashed, that could easily lead to jump starting the Kessler Syndrome and civilization as we know it would collapse fairly quickly.  It's odd to me that me here so little about this.

Plenty of smart people don't have the first damn clue how to run a government or about the government itself. Shutting a bunch of stuff down in deference to ideology is not how to run a government (or a social media site for that matter) and it's not smart.

Calling for the defunding of an agency that gets no government funds (https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1864310957973098571) is not smart; it's just ideological bloviating and any action taken as a result is flat stupid.

I honestly don't know whether he's smart or not. But he's not approaching any of this in a smart way.

    Well said.
Being clever (or even "smart", depending on how you define that) does no necessarily relate to the quality of ones mind.  Engaging in aimless, reckless, harmful, and/or greedy behavior is not a characteristic of a quality mind.
