No, this was brought up by ignorant conservatives to try to make her look dumb.

"Why don't you use all those campaign funds you raised? Or did you blow it all on fancy clothes?"

You can use those funds for campaigning, including clothing.  But not to rent an apartment.  Thems the rules, not ver batim of course.

    Really?

What conservatives were doing that?  That's shameful.

When it’s a pasty white guy, nobody cares. I mean just see all those threads about it and anti-$1.5 trillion tax cut threads. Corporate socialism great, people socialism bad, bad, bad.
What are you talking about? Who here said they would care if she slept in her office?
The high cost of real estate in DC and having to maintain a residence in your home district has been an issue for years. But certain posters only seem to point it out when a liberal, Hispanic woman mentions the challenge of it. And no, no one should be living out of their office.
Leave it to you to introduce the terms "pasty white guy" and "liberal, Hispanic woman" into the conversation.

"Another of the benefits is the overnight apartments as all members who live more than five miles (50 km) from the Parlament are entitled to - completely free of charge. All are located in central Stockholm: in Södermalm, in the old town and at Östermalm.

If you want to rent an apartment at similar addresses via Stockholm's housing agency, you can wait 16 years.

The Riksdag housing is between 16.6 square meters and 82 square meters. Per Lodenius, Centre Party, has one of the three smallest accommodation apartments in the old town house.

    - I use the apartment when I work late evenings and nights and have early meetings the following morning. It is about being able to carry out an assignment we have where we are on duty 24 hours a day, says Per Lodenius, who also has a private residence outside Norrtälje."

Although Swedish cancer research is still high, Sweden is being overthrown by other European countries, the Swedish Cancer Fund (Cancerfonden) writes in its forthcoming report, which Dagens Medicin (Daily Medicin Magazine) has taken part.

When the 2006 fund for the first time ranked the world's 20 leading cancer research nations, Sweden ended up in 9th place. Over the years, the country has since declined to find 15th place this year, compared to last year's 14th place. And our Nordic neighbors have begun to  catch up. Norway has entered 20th place, and Denmark, which is in place 18 this year, is behind a larger percentage of the 5 percent most cited articles.

Who exactly is attacking her? And if representatives before her have struggled with this, what's so special about her? Seems like a problem any congressperson could have regardless of their pasty whiteness, Hispanic liberalness, or whatever other labels you have for people.

Everyone including myself was wondering where you were getting this crap from and you are angry about a completely different thread?

OK, since this thread was not started because she is a woman, Hispanic or a liberal, please feel free to carry on now.
  • That meme comments on her socialist (or at least perceived socialist) views. I don't see anything about it that can be tied to her race or gender.

But she does answer Cuomoz questions. So, that weird bubbleman unsung is meming in bad faith. Like everything else he does on here. In his little bubble.

And every other western democracy can have a tax funded health care system, so you have to pretty dumb to not see how it would work. In the little Sean-Hannity-bubble.

Jesus dude, I was wondering where your outrage was coming from.

Everyone including myself was wondering where you were getting this crap from and you are angry about a completely different thread?

OK, since this thread was not started because she is a woman, Hispanic or a liberal, please feel free to carry on now.

No, not "everyone" was wondering, because  (a) probably most everyone regularly on AMT saw the meme, and (b) we're all familiar with what that poster posts.

It's fair game to comment on what people post in different threads on the same topic.

That meme comments on her socialist (or at least perceived socialist) views. I don't see anything about it that can be tied to her race or gender.
Given how it's presented, the photo used, and taking it into context of how that segment operates, I think it's naive to not see how it also comments on her gender and youth at the least.
