Whenever I see comments of this ilk I wonder if the person making the comment ever stops to consider how much the person taking their own life must be suffering to make that choice. 

As someone who has attempted to take their own life & also as someone who also on occasion has the privilege of working with people who have attempted to take their own life, I’m deeply saddened that comments like this ever get made as they seem to bypass empathy or compassion, heading straight to a judgment. 

In somewhat defense of wndowpayne, the terseness of making such a declarative statement on an internet message board accentuates the idea of heading straight to judgment. 

Empathy and compassion are not as hard coded into our DNA.  We have to work at them.  The good thing is, that despite what it seems like sometimes in the world the TV shows us, we are getting much better at it.

Keep doing great work @IamTom , and thank you for helping others by being open about yourself.

I've tried it . I think if I lived in a hot country maybe ok. But in England it's fuckin cold most of the year. Like ale is a nice autumn or winter drink I find red wine the same. So I prefer room temp.

It's dull here. I have an allotment (not  sure if that is a thing there) a plot to grow veg on.
I went there earlier a ground frost and cold wind. The joys of England. Dank

They can indeed be tough - especially if there's family strife. On a slightly less serious note, shopping/finding the right gift  is stressful... commercialism is as rampant as ever... lots of financial strain.

People are all entitled to their own opinions, there is no right or wrong.  I agree with windowpayne, suicide is selfish.  Think about your kids, they need you.  Man up.  Go get help, not a rope.

Fuckin man up. ?Must be one of the most stupid or ignorant phrases I've ever heard. I do not care who you are or what you believe that is ignorant. Do you really believe  its un manly to suffer. It implies men are so strong and can fix anything with being male only. The brain is the same in a man or a woman and strange enough can break down on anyone at anytime. I'm not going to continue  to fight the corner of desperately ill people but I will say .
If c.c had cancer would you suggest man up would heal it.

The first 3 albums are good, but No Code through Binaural is the best creative period for the band. 
The self titled album is incredibly hard to listen to. Just not good. 
Soldier Field 95 is nothing special
Evenflow is meh
I connect more at Ed solo shows in recent years
Out of My Mind is not a good song or improv

... I think Vitalogy is up there with Yield in terms of creativity...both outstanding albums, mind you. 
... Self-Titled is all over the place.
... Soldier Field does indeed have a lot of "flubs."
... Unfortunately, (to me anyway) Even Flow has aged the worst out of all of their mega hits.
... Can't comment on the last two.

Got really irritated with Mike when listening to the Seattle bootlegs the other day. The guy fucks up simple melody lines, flubs notes and chords here and there, starts solos in wrong key. Maybe pay more attention to the guitar and less to pointing people in the audience or showing off.
