Four planes were hijacked, two flew into the World Trade Center, one into the pentagon. My only question was: the official version says the fourth plane wastaken over by the passengers and then it crashed in Pennsylvania.  I always wondered whether that happened Or was there an order given to shoot it down since it was heading to dc.
when the day originally happened I thought that was a possibility. seemed almost like a fairy tale that passengers over took the hijackers and the plane crashed.   that being said if it was shot down there would be a wider path or debris than there was.  the debris from a missile knocking down a jet liner would scatter over miles i believe.  that's what leads me to believe it crashed there.
Did they actually successfully take it over, or did they try to take back control and both sides, essentially, lost, leading to the crash?

What I actually find amazing is there are actually people that believe that the GWB and his gang fools would be able to pull that off...and then the amount of people that would be needed to execute that as an inside job, just make it seems impossible...

Take the official government report and the wildest conspiracy theory...the truth is somewhere in between.
I’d be interested in why you think it’s a theory or believe there is/was a conspiracy.
Because I don’t consume what is spoonfed.  I am not applying this to only 9/11.
But there is a difference between not being “spoon fed” and automatically rejecting all official reports just because they are official reports. There have been many years to assess the claims, and lots of research since. What specific aspects do you have evidence are not true?

Lots of people like to claim that events “couldn’t” have occurred as reported, because of their personal beliefs about, for instance, how metal reacts at high temperatures. Those people tend not to be materials scientists, though, and don’t usually know or understand what actually has been proven to be possible.

I've wondered that before, but never heard anything about it.
My assumption is they fought for controls and the terrorists chose to crash it over letting the passengers regain control.
That's the only scenario that makes sense to me. Why would the passengers take it over just to crash? They'd at least make contact with air traffic and let them know what happened, fly until it is out of fuel and try to glide into some water or something, even if the chance of success was only 1/1000.
It makes more sense if they fought for control and the hijackers deliberately crashed it during the struggle.

Your question is impossible to answer accurately since not all information has ever been released to the public.

I actually have many unanswered questions, but it has been 17 years and I doubt the answers will ever be given.

I think it's natural to be curious about the conspiracies and wanted them proven or disproven.  At the same time, I think it would make sense to spend at least just as much time and energy asking, What drives people to the point of doing something like flying an airplane into a building?  Seems like this would be good to know.
Curiosity is definitely a good thing, and so is developing theories that allow room to be disproven. What drives me batty about conspiracy theories is that they’re designed in a way where they don’t allow to be disproven, they just go to the next level of crazy if the lower level is proven false.

tower 7 always intrigued me.  Just the way it came down so perfectly so many hours after the attacks.  I know there were uncontrollable fires burning in there for several hours but maybe perhaps the collapse was aided in some way.  Who knows, some crazy stuff happened on 9/11.

It is entirely possible that plane was shot down.  Military intelligence personnel who would know of this information would never be allowed to verify the plane was or was not shot down.  No one in intelligence, nor political circles, would be willing to admit, during their lifetime, that they ordered a plane shot down with American citizens aboard, regardless of how many it saved.  How do you face the families, friends, and the country and tell them you had to kill those people to save others?
Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?

Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...

Show me a 757 in this video... supposedly flying a few feet off the ground... at a few hundred MPH... piloted by a poorly trained amateur pilot... who hits his target dead on square.... he didn't come even a few hundred yards short, he threaded the needle, in a 757, a few feet off the ground, travelling at a high rate of speed, with minimal training (yeah, no questions there)

Is this where all the condescending people come in passing judgement on those just asking questions?

Humans can be fucking evil. Americans aren't any different.

Who in here knows about the Russian apartment bombings? Do you think those were false flag attacks or "terrorism" as was claimed by the Russian government?

They told you their goal was continued global hegemony into the next century... they laid out the plan for it for everyone to see... they stated a major event was needed to achieve their goal... they take power.... 9/11 happens... then they lied to you about wmd without blinking and slaughtered a few hundred thousand people while laying a nation to waste... authorized torture, kidnapping, black rendition sites, people held forever without charges.... that's not an oopsie, that shit was fucking evil... and you ridicule people that dare to have questions? Lol, yeah, ok.

Just a few decades ago educated members of an advanced industrial nation systematically murdered a few million people just because of their heritage... millions were gassed, burned, starved... for no reason... which should tell you humans are capable if evil you cant even comprehend... and this was very modern history... so yeah, I'm comfortable saying things about 9/11 will always tickle my imagination. With all of the information available, I think its foolish to think otherwise

''I'm still to this day amazed that he could have flown into the Pentagon,'' the former employee said. ''He could not fly at all.''
interesting.  That pentagon video always bothered me because it looks more like a missile than a plane.
