easily in my top 5... especially good on my ipod while snowboarding... you would think something rockin and uptempo for that, but this song makes everything almost zenlike riding down the mountain/hill.

i really didn't care what i got or didn't get in oz, except for lowlight, thats the main one, and i got it my second night, can't even describe that feeling when i knew it was coming, the song means the world to me, it can change my day when i hear it, always for the better. I'll find my way from wrong what's real our dream i see... the whole song is just pure magic to me
For years, literally, I didn't care for this song. It's clear to me now that I just didn't "get" it.
It took me until this year to finally appreciate this song. I believe I was on a plane, flying back from Lisbon. I had just spent an awesome few days in the city, seen Pearl Jam twice, and met some truly amazing people. I was listening to Yield, and Low Light started playing. It just happened to be at the time that the sun was setting over the sea, it was "Low Light", and I was looking out of the window. I don't know why, but I just finally "got" this song. It truly is beautiful.
I have it on repeat now, and I am not getting sick of it any time soon.
Now one of my favourite Pearl Jam tracks, and I would love to hear it live one day.

This is just an amazing song to play when you're driving home from work in the dark...just so soothing and relaxing and in the dark the subtle, emotive lyrics just fill the blackness outside...and it means i can sing along to my heart's content and people can't look in my car and see me doing so...good ol' darkness...
Some songs are just great for this. Another one you might want to try is "Moonlight Mile", the last song on Rolling Sytones Sticky Fingers.
Years ago I lived in western Qld, and driving back from the coast was always late at night, and I would slow down because of kangaroos, and this would often be playing as I cruised gently through the outback dark.
It was always an beautiful experience. It has a similar vibe to Lowlight !!
Actually that whole album is a bit like that, sister morphine, dead flowers etc, great songs !!
Clouds roll by
Reeling is what they say
Or is it just my way?
Wind blows by, low light
Side-tracked, low light
Can't see my tracks, your scent-way back
Can I be here all alone?
Clear a path to my home
Blood runs dry
Books and jealousy tell me wrong
I WILL feel, calm
Voice blows by, low light
Car crash, low light
Can't wear my mask, your first, my last
Voice goes by
Two birds is what they'll see
Getting lost upon their way
WIND ROLLS by, low light
Eye sight, low light
I need the light
I'll find my way from wrong, what's real?
The dream I see
