    These are from a couple weeks ago.  There were fires burning on both the mainland BC and in Washington state, so some pretty dramatic sunsets.

    I visited my Aunt and Uncle this past Thanksgiving in Long Island City (Astoria) Queens, NYC. They live on the 10th floor of their building roughly 1 mile from the 59th st bridge. The 1st picture is from this year.
    The 2nd picture is looking west at sunset in Sept. 2013 the Empire State Bldg is to the right and the new WTC tower to the left. Notice how much development has occurred in Queens over the years.
