I was kidding about being in prison.  I killed the guy with an ice pick but it was self defense so the trial was a breeze.

I was a member in 94/95.  Based on the newsletters I have from then I think my number was 8xxxx.  At the time, I didn't realize that being in the 10C mattered for ticket selection, it was more of a cool thing that gave me access to newsletters, merch and the Christmas single.  The two shows I saw in 95 and one in 98 were 100% GA so seating position never really crossed my mind.  Never the less, I highly regret letting my membership lapse, but then again I was stupid and in high school.  Mailing a check in every year wasn't exactly priority.  Fortunately I was wise enough to rejoin in 2001 and my member number is now 232xxx.  I've def. been shut out of some lottery shows in the last few years, but my seats have been pretty consistently great.  The one time I would say I had a "bad seat" was Chicago 2003.  I was literally in the second to last row of the floor on the outside aisle.  But at the time they were not doing GA and I don't think they were utilizing the sides of the arenas as much.

I still don’t get how so many people let their memberships expired , once I joined in 93 the very next year I got the chance at great tickets for the Paramount show after that I knew it was something I was not gonna let go best decision I’ve made concerning my concert experience...27xxx
Some of us joined in 91-92 when it was free and chill.

When the band started charging it was taking on a bit of a "corporate" feel so some of us dropped on principle.

Yes we regret it but it's not impossible to imagine why some of us would have cut bait.
I also got into PJ very early on and could have had an insanely good number. With all of the things I've dealt with throughout all those years I probably would have let it lapse at some point. So, here I am with my 5XX,XXX number and got to sit behind the Pesky Pole at Fenway both nights. It was still a blast and I did get lucky with the lotto for both Oakland shows, so I'm grateful. Anxious to find out what kind of tickets I end up with. I also feel lucky that I got to see them in the beginning. Lastly, my favorite color is blue and I'm a Pisces...

I’ve gotten every ticket I’ve ever put in for in the 10c. (Including 3 Denver, Phoenix and Budapest this year) So has my lovely wife (San Diego)

No regrets about not having joined sooner... at points during the bands existence I was:
    - homeless
    - couch surfing
    - married
    - divorced
    - into hardcore, punk and metal more than PJ

I bought the first 3 albums as a kid, but PJ Radio on Sirius is what really brought me back to the band.

That 711xxx is nuts!!  My wife signed up on January 1 2020, and got a 701xxx, and I saw someone post that they signed up on January 12, right before the announcement, and got 703xxx.  8000 more after the NA tour announcement!!

the ticketing system that rewarded multiple memberships happened

We met a dude in the merch line at Fenway in 2018 who was bragging about having multiple memberships to score more tickets, then scalp them. I think we was buying two of everything available, but I'm sure it was because he was so passionate about the band.

After years of procrastinating and not having the cash to spare (hey, $20 is a lot when you're living paycheque to paycheque in your 20s), I've got a pretty high number (521xxx). That said, I was more than happy with the seats I got for Fenway, and scored GA for Ottawa in 2016. I'm just happy to be in the building, and getting 10C tickets is way less stressful than hitting F5 100 times in a minute...

I'm with you. I had joined in 2000, but life got in the way, and I lapsed from 2007 through 2016 (after seeing them in Tampa, my first show since 2006, I rejoined), so I'm up in the 540xxx range. Prior to 2018, In my years of membership, I'd only ever gotten 10C tickets to 1 show (I re-upped too late for Fenway '16), so I am very used to seeing PJ from the nosebleeds. Now, if I can get in the building without having to deal with the stress of a public sale on TicketMaster, I'm happy. Hell, just having that opportunity makes me grateful.
