I am hoping too but would they really announce10 Club before festivals?
They normally announce all the shows at once, no? See the previous EU tour.
Just imagine: a tour announcement on the 25th anniversary of Vitalogy. I can't see it happening. 29th or 6th Dec for sure.

For some reason I thought they did fest first but doing a quick fest announcement search for the 2018 tour that may have not been the case.
Now you mention it, I think Mad Cool might have been announced first in 2018.

No. Everything at once.
Thanks, I started doubting myself. Just checked the Mad Cool Facebook page and it was December 1st.

It could be any Friday from now on, most likely in December... last European tours were announced Friday 9.12 2011, Friday 13.12.2013 and Friday 1.12.2017.
How could you ever think PJ would play Glastonbury...No way big enough.
Not sure about that mate, Glastonbury is pretty big!!
In Dimi We Trust
Glastonbury is Flipping huge old son.. The pyramid stage field alone has a rough capacity of 120000 and that's just one bit.. Its MASSIVE.. Just a shame PJ don't play it... And I don't think they ever will... Shame..
its good pj dont play to a festival that is sold out before headliners announced and pj fans cant go see ther band.
It is and it isn't. The challenge to them of playing to a crowd that is largely not theirs would be good to see, and they'd get to do it via a global broadcast too. That would be pretty spectacular, and something they've not done for a long time. When did they last play a multi-day festival that does not sell day tickets? Have they ever? Imagine the significantly reduced fee Glastonbury pays would play a part - bands have to want to do it as the festival won't pay the million plus per headliner fee coughed up by BST, Reading/Leeds etc due to the charitable aims it has.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits
If they play PinkPop... would have to be Sunday the 21
RHCP confirmed Friday and Post Malone Saturday
biggest name announced for Sunday right now is Volbeat, so definitely waiting for a headliner there

Who knows, don't know why that should really affect an announcement imho.
2012 – Manchester II 2014 – Amsterdam I & II, Gdynia, Leeds, Milton Keynes 2016 – Wrigley I & II 2017 – Amsterdam III [EV] 2018 – London I, Padova, Rome, Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Wrigley I & II 2019 – Dublin [EV] 2022 – Copenhagen, Hyde Park I, St. Louis 2023 – Chicago I & II 2024 – Dublin, Manchester, Wrigley I & II, NYC I & II, Melbourne I & II, Sydney I & II
It really depends on the festivals, trying to get 5-6 festivals to announce at the same time might not always be so easy. And they do not celebrate thanksgiving.
Who knows, don't know why that should really affect an announcement imho.
Santos or someone would need to be publishing it
Unless it's all pre-arranged, scheduled, etc.

Would Pinkpop really start their ticket sale on Saturday without announcing the 3rd headliner? and IF it's Pearl Jam, would they announce them without 10C telling us anything about the rest of the tour?
Francis Zégut a famous french radio host just gave hints for Pearl jam playing at Lollapaloosa France
yep..paris will be fun...ill add it if they move in the back another destination..(and can fford it..lol

We are expecting an announcement on this friday - saturday because of Pink Pop and what Santos wrote. But Dimitris said we should wait for Werchter announcement (probably on the first week of December and as the rest of EU tours have been announced before). If Pink pop wasn't on the list before the changes it would fit, but if not... I don't know...
