Hopefully a US tour including smaller markets; Des Moines, IA, Indianapolis, Madison, WI, Kansas City, Grand Rapids, Houston, Wichita, and San Antonio. Not everybody lives near the coasts.
Love that Houston is now considered a small market. I get your point though.
Your comment about Houston made me smile. Ironic that Houston is one of the largest markets, but no PJ show since 2003, need two shows in Houston.
Completely get that it should be a two show event regularly.
Would LOVE a Pearl Jam Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut & New York ... car ride tour, if they can't do a mini Maritime Tour by New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island & Nova Scotia.
I think one of the side effects of the 2018 home and away shows is that they knocked a few cities off of the list and don’t have to go back there as part of the 2019 tour.
the stretch that is absolutely and by far the most overdue is the Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Des Moines, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta proper, and then down through Houston and the west coast. I could see them playing Seattle again in 2019 (maybe another year of home shows to finish off the Tour) but I don’t think Boston, Chicago and Missoula will be part of it. I also think the only cities from 2016 tour in play for 2019 are Raleigh (this one has to happen), New York, and Philly.

I just hope we/they arent married to the stadium/ballpark show scene. I wont do it anymore.
I don’t think they will. I think they hit the point where the supply over shot the demand with the second Boston night. People couldn’t give their Boston N2 tickets away. Was a great show but I don’t envision the ball parks being a permanent thing, outside of Chicago (I don’t think they’ll ever play a non Wrigley Chicago show again)

I think Boston N2 was bad timing with school starting and whatnot. If the show had been the previous week, then it would have been a different story.

If they are dropping a new album then they will for sure milk the European festivals. I expect an album time for the summer then do some warm up shows in USA and then go to Europe. Then Fall will be a biggish USA tour then Aus 2020.
Considering the band has slowed down drastically in recent years, in just over two years the US got 7 shows and long breaks from touring are not uncommon these days, it seems 2019 may be a pipe dream. Maybe its time to close this topic and start the 2020 rumor thread.
they could still play Seattle, they don't have to tour to do that, would be nice if they played something in 2019, none of us are getting any younger, lol
It'd be nice if we could have them here in Los Angeles! As much as I don't care for stadium shows, Dodgers Stadium would be cool, Staples Center or the Forum would be more ideal.

Why would 2019 touring be a pipe dream if a new album is in the works? if the album drops in 2019, we can probably expect a 70 date tour.

There will never be a 70 date tour....they like to play 20 to 30 shows when they tour per year

The Forum will most likely be the spot if and when they are back in LA.
The acoustics and overall experience is excellent since it was refurbished several years ago. Probably doesn’t hurt that TOTD played there on the tour.

Well, I guess it’s been since 2006 since they’ve played 70+ in a year. But I can hope!

A second stadium show on a Tuesday night after a 3 day weekend is always going to be an easy ticket.

100%. You would have thought the tour organizers would have thought that one through a bit better - think of the age demographics of the band's fan base!

100% (again). I know that this would be very unpopular but if I'm them, I'd consider doing JUST stadiums from now on! (FWIW, I prefer arena shows).

Oh poor you, the band is coming to your country to play a festival every time they tour Europe. Some countries have gone 25 years without even that
