This song is so beautiful, you have someone, and then you don't. That is the reality of things. The lyrics say it all though, "love can move in both directions, I'd be happy and true, is the quest we taken on together" THAT part of the song is the most important part of the song. It means that no matter what happens, you are going to be devoted to each other, and even though you are far away(long distance) or nearby, it does not matter, what matter is what you feel in your heart. That you know that it is true and anything can happen.

Of course, I thought that was possible for me, but it turned out not to be.:(

oh well...life goes on.:)

It is a nice song, but I think it is a bit simple in lyrical meaning, compared to many other songs by PJ. I think lyrics written by Eddie are much deeper and complex. Those are the songs I am into more than easy to explain songs such as this one.

BUMP this thread up!!

Listened to Binural last night, as I went to sleep w/headphones on, and truly, this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written about someone you love. Love the line 'love can keep moving in both directions' which is SO true. And you lovers know what i am talking about.

I recall last year, my ex and I talked about that particular lyric, and he said it was unrealistic. What I explained to him, is that what Stone was expressing was the way how he felt from being apart from his lover. Whereever they are, they both share the raw emotion that is loving someone. The way I translate this is if you are in one state, and the person that you love is in another, your love for one another is growing as each day pass by.:)
