Had time today and went through some old European tours. With knowledge of past venues and tours, and some of Dimitri's much-appreciated hints, JUST FOR FUNI put together a potential route for the tour, with a few "stretches" thrown in as well. It turned out to be 15 shows total, in an order that makes sense geographically and somewhat historically. Thoughts or opinions from more experienced fans? **Note: I mostly did not account for festivals (I am unaware of the realistic ones they may play).
from experience .. .geographically doesnt mean much if u think they can go south and north with no logic order..(done in the past) second, they dont arenas tour only,so festivals are a part of it pj last tours plaiyed big stadiums as well..so u need to put that in the math also there are usual suspect countries they always do in europe. there are specific countries the start,or end the tour there is a festival, they always play in europe,so if u do hypothesis,u must add that too u cant just use just old european tour. as statistic,,but only the last decade ones..after 2006 they change the way they tour.. so from 2007 -2014 the average is 10-13 shows in europe

Yeah, they always play Rock Werchter, Belgium. I would go for: AMS x 2 - (PinkPop) - Oslo - (Sweden) - Italy x 3 - Rock Werchter - Berlin - Prague/Vienna - Mad Cool, Spain - Lisbon - UK x 2

July 5 - 8 too which would put it on the back half of the tour I would imagine.
Last years rock headliners were all mostly announced in November and early December too so these announcements are going to be coming fairly soon for 2018.
Circa 12 shows hmmm... maybe indeed one UK and one in the nordic.

With these strong rumors beginning to circulate (June-July for europe) this will probably make me hold off on U2 shows in the northeast that were just announced today.
Yes we do. I get it, Europe is due. But I've yet to witness "Release" and I need another shot at it ASAP.
Asia is due, not Europe. Last time they jammed in Asia was what back in '03? You could say Africa too as there are many Pearl Jam fans there that have never got to see Pearl Jam live there, as they never played there .. ever!
Hoping Australia gets some love too next year. They had what only festival shows back in '14 for that Big Day Out Festival Tour? Last non festival shows down under was back in 2009?
As for Canada I wish Pearl Jam's Tour Manager goes back to the 2005 model. That includes Atlantic Canada on the map. Maybe this time around they add New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island Pearl Jam stops.
i guess they will return to Austria for the Nova Rock Festival from 14th to 16th June 2018.
up here in my tree in Vienna 2006: Vienna 2009: Berlin 2010: London ~ Berlin 2012: Amsterdam 1+2 ~ Werchter ~ Arras ~ Berlin 1+2 2014: Milano ~ Trieste ~ Vienna ~ Berlin 2018: Padova ~ Rome 2022: Budapest ~ Vienna EV London/Hammersmith 2012 EV Berlin/Zitadelle 2017
i guess they will return to Austria for the Nova Rock Festival from 14th to 16th June 2018.
I would second that guess... (If they are not doing Pink Pop) - Still I will skip the home-country show if it's a festival and prefer Arenas in Krakow, Berlin and Italy form the currently rumored dates :-)
I guess Zagreb, Sarajevo, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest, Budva, Sofia, Athens, Istanbul, Tel Aviv
are funny..or drunk...or both!!
