What cities do we think they would play ballparks besides wrigley/fenway?
Honestly, just Safeco. I think they will do 2 night sets like last time over the weekend creating three mini fan fests, West, central and East.

I'd guess there would be more stadium dates if they weren't spending 1/2 of July in Europe then needing 2-3 week break before next set of shows.

The dude can't spell.  He actually meant northwestern New Jersey which really means Madison Square Garden.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
  • Do we know if it's a Fenway-specific thing where GA isn't allowed on the field? Because, I would love that route this time around. That being said, both shows were a treat last year. Looking forward to three if that's the case in 2018....

They have used general admission before with Fenway. I am with you on the front being GA like Wrigley but after seeing the Foo Fighters do all seating up front I am sure that is the method of choice now for Fenway shows.

Pretty sure that's a Fenway policy... or maybe even a Boston specific policy I think someone said that before? Would explain Worcester over the Boston arena in 2013

Springstein has done it in the past as have a couple of other bands I think. Here is an example of one of the shows though the GA is very small.

Here's hoping that's a good sign for Georgia getting a date next year!
I noticed that too. I was thinking they might be in Atlanta currently recording with Brendan O’Brien.
Google says Southern Tracks, the place in Atlanta where PJ has recorded many of their albums, is permanently closed.  Anyone know where Brendan O'Brien records albums nowadays?

Well, if they can't do Raleigh, I would take a show at the Ted as well as a couple shows at Bridgestone in Nashville for a change of pace. they would have ZERO problem filling these places.

Man, I'd love to see PJ play the old Ted!
Foo Fighters are playing it's first GSU Stadium concert in April. It'd be great if Pearl Jam were its second!

Multiple Northwest shows? Safeco is the only ballpark of the proper size in the Northwest, so must be other arena/ampatheatre shows around the stadium dates?

Cali is NW now? Maybe from Greece ;)

AT&T is a gorgeous ballpark and would be a great setting for a show, but if California is part of the NW now, I'd put Dodger Stadium in LA or Coors Field in Denver as possibles too.

Maybe next month, the cat will be out of the bag, but till then, The waiting is driving me mad....

Aside from the 3 cities that are rumoured to be getting ballpark shows I doubt anyone in this thread really knows anything about the NA tour. I would love to be proved wrong but I just do not think the info is out there yet and we are going to be waiting until next summer for the announcement for the main tour.
