Hey dimitri- can you confirm a possibility of Pearl Jam playing Boston Calling on Memorial Day? I was hoping for this as a possibility with a nice gap between South America and Europe. I even threw it out there as something that could happen. I went to inforoo /Boston Calling this morning and people are posting that Pearl Jam are a strong possibility of headlining. I know they are a possibility of returning to Fenway. I am not trying to stir the rumor mill, I just know BC is trying to be a real player in the festival market and Aaron Dessner said they are booking 10x times the biggest act ever at a Q&A. Do the National and PJ share history? Here's hoping and thanks!

Boston Calling is in May isn't it? Went to see Tool there last year and thought it was an ok festival. The volume was turned way down unfortunately and took away from the show. That said no way they play Fenway and Boston Calling and all signs have them playing Fenway.

It is in May and I agree the volume was sketchy for Tool. I thought it was a lot better of a festival than most out there. They had very limited EDM and I hate that shit. Their indie rock acts were very solid. Thanks for your insight.

No one posted PJ is a strong possibility to play Boston Calling. A few people said that’s someone they’d like to see play. If PJ is playing Fenway they won’t be playing Boston Calling.

Took my daughter to a concert at Wells Fargo arena in philly a couple of weeks ago. It was tough. (Jingle Ball ugh). My comfort was that I was seated directly under the flag. I hope the next time I return there it’s for pj. One of my favorite places to see them. Great memories!

logistically speaking the order of shows seems like a nightmare.  switch wrigley and safeco and I agree.  announce something soon!

One thing about the Foo Fighters weekend rumors at Wrigley. I noticed in the Foo Fighters Fenway show, their stage shoots out in to the GA crowd on the field. In the Wrigley shows, it does not. It's shaped like a more traditional stage. Hmm, so why are the stages different from ballpark to ballpark?

Which makes me wonder if it's because they are sharing or borrowing a stage for either the Fenway or Wrigley shows? Maybe that ss a sign some act is playing the day(s) before the FF shows at Wrigley?

I think the US will have summer stadium shows and arena shows October/November time.
Agreed.  Based off of the way the band does things lately and the cities that are due, here’s my prediction:

cleveland, Columbus, pittsburgh, DC x2, Richmond, Raleigh make up, Charlotte, then over to Atlanta x2 and Nashville (both ATL and Nashville had scheduled shows cancelled due to Bonnaroo in 2016), down to NoLa for Voodoo fest (PJ at Voodoo is clockwork at this point)

then a 2 week break and 2nd leg that mirrors 2013 west coast tour
Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh would be a dream come true! (Actually, it would. I had a dream last night that they were about to take the stage in Pittsburgh. I had another one where a three-city tour was Ottawa, NYC x2 and Columbus...so go figure.)

However... the other guy mentioned Indianapolis as getting missed. Because Pittsburgh was on the last album tour, what if Indianapolis was in place of Pittsburgh??

Columbus really has two good options... Nationwide Arena which is downtown and near a lot of bars and the Schottenstein Center which is at Ohio State's campus and not near anything really. While a Wishlist Foundation tailgate party would be fun, I'm not sure I see it happening.
Columbus deserves a show. I was super impressed with the city and Nationwide Arena - great city to walk and great sounding venue.

Columbus is an interesting case and not necessarily because I'm from there.

Three times in the early 90s... two "college bars" aka tiny clubs/bars and another smaller venue. Nothing after that until 2000, partially due to the Ticketmaster situation. 2000 and 2003 were at a large outdoor shed-type venue.

A few years later, that venue stopped booking acts and was torn down. Nothing after that until 2010. (Anyone with a sharp eye will notice that 2010 setlist had a lot of avocado and Backspacer songs on it.)

I was hoping for 2013 or 2014 (keep the average shows per decade fairly consistent) but the area got Pittsburgh, Detroit and Cincinnati instead.
The 2000 and 2003 /2010 shows were fun its is indifferent how  the gaps are 1992 newport music hall and two very small shows before then nothing till 2000 .I would love some  Columbus Ohio shows plus brad has a connection here.we do have the two big venue s plus the ohio state stadium

Nope looks pretty good too travel wise for the road crew I would imagine. I know people like the day off in between shows but I would love to see back to back nights for these to help save money on hotels and being away from the kids.  I doubt it will happen but we will see.

To be fair more Jays fans have been making the trip south of the border that it sometimes feels like an away game for the Mariners when the Blue Jays are in town.
