Just from following this thread it appears you use an outside fire a lot for cooking. Do you use the outside fire for alot of your meals. Think that’s pretty wild but also alot of work and I would assume you don’t live in a snowbelt areaLoujoe said:

Above is just me romanticizing & never trying 'Chestnuuuuttttsss roasting over open firrrre".
Was going to make my green chili over the fire,but yes. A lot of work to build up the coals. So used propane grill.
Cooking outside adds a layer of flavor i can't get from a stove.
Hot chili in the cold winter air just does something for me.
I have a kitchen, but choose not to use it much.

lol appreciate the answer actually. I completely get it. I haven’t been camping in a tent in decades now, but when we did I loved cooking over an open fire and you do get some sort of an extra flavour it seemsLoujoe said:
