I upgraded a frozen Cheez-its crust pizza with fancy pepperoni, fresh grated Romano & Parmesan, pepper flakes, and Calabrian chili sauce.

A lot better than I anticipated TBH. I picked these up at Grocery Outlet a while back. I had heard that sometimes they have Wisconsin Brick cheese. I needed some for detroit style pizzas, so I stopped by to see if it was true. It wasn't, but I spotted these on clearance. A pack of 2 for $4. I had to give them a shot.

I like this idea. Like an ice cream man, but with pizza.

Our standard order from the local spot. Mushroom and onion.  Nothing special, but solid every time.
EDIT: Is $28 normal for a large pie?

these days, $28 is not surprising. considering the ingredients needed, it’s too much IMO, but it is what it is.

Drove up to one local pizza place and they were closed due to fire! 😔 They hope to reopen.

Drove down the street to one equally as good.

I only eat pizza once every few months, mostly when my kids are home and there is downtime. This spot has the market cornered in an affluent town. Truth is they make good food and there is no competition. The chicken scarpariello is killer. Lines out the door Thursday through Sunday. They are making buckets of money. And my 18 year old daughter loves their BBQ chicken slice, which makes me cringe every time I get it for her.

We tried 2 different pizza joints since we moved here. That's all I needed to try. I now have my Lou Malnatis shipped frozen to me, and they have a Giordanos in Orlando that we have dined at twice.

Sorry Florida but your pizza is disgusting.
