Ha!  Commemorative coin!!!!  Of course it was cancelled.  It had to be.  If a condition of it was de-nuclearlization, it was never going to happen.

I'm selling war bonds.  Let me know if you're interested.

Honestly, nothing is going to happen.  We have to accept that NK is nuclear and it going to stay nuclear.  The question is how can we reduce them as a threat and pull them back into the world community.

We have/had an opportunity to prevent Iran from becoming nuclear for at least another 15 years, but now that's fucked up.

I would be inclined to agree. NK knows if they do anything they'lll be signing their own wipe-off-the-planet warrant.

but trump is poking the fucking bear.

NK isn't a threat even with nukes... what would they gain from attacking anybody?

Honestly, the status quo scares me less than Donald Trump sitting down at a summit wanting to sign any deal at all just so that he can say he signed a deal.

so that asshole tweets his "we are with you (Tomi Lahren)" hours after the witch gets water thrown at her (no, she didn't melt, to everyone's amazement) but takes 3 weeks to congratulate the waffle house hero for risking his life to save others.

she is the first to call everyone a fucking snowflake, but then goes on fucks and friends and says "I'm tough, I can handle it" about getting a drink thrown in her face.

un-fucking-real. the hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Nothing but certain annihilation.  They would never use them.

Mutually assured... SK, Japan and NK.  He would use them if we attacked Pyongyang.  But I don't think there's much chance he would proactively use them.  It's a stalemate and why I think we should be negotiating to re-enter the world community.  NK has starved its own people and been a bad actor, but they haven't invaded other countries, committed acts of war, etc.  So I'm not sure why we treat them like they are Germany circa 1938.

President Trump's 'dramatic and positive' achievement

South Korean President Jae-in Moon visited the White House yesterday, speaking with President Trump about recent developments in North Korea. The US-South Korea bilateral comes weeks before President Trump's planned summit with Kim Jong Un in Singapore.

"President Trump has been able to achieve this dramatic and positive change that you see right now," President Moon said. "There have been many agreements between the United States and North Korea previously, but this will be the first time that there will be an agreement between the leaders."

President Trump emphasized that next month's summit is contingent on North Korea's willingness to engage on key issues, including denuclearization. "There are certain conditions that we want, and I think we'll get those conditions. And if we don't, we don't have the meeting," President Trump said. "It has a chance to be a great, great meeting for North Korea and a great meeting for the world."

Watch President Trump welcome President Moon to the White House.

    His Excellency
    Kim Jong Un
Chairman of the State Affairs Commission
of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea
    Pyongyang

    Dear Mr. Chairman:
We greatly appreciate your time, patience, and effort with respect to our recent negotiations and discussions relative to a summit long sought by both parties, which was scheduled to take place on June 12 in Singapore. We were informed that the meeting was requested by North Korea, but that to us is totally irrelevant. I was very much looking forward to being there with you. Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting. Therefore, please let this letter serve to represent that the Singapore summit, for the good of both parties, but to the detriment of the world, will not take place. You talk about nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used.
I felt a wonderful dialogue was building up between you and me, and ultimately, it is only that dialogue that matters. Some day, I look very much forward to meeting you. In the meantime, I want to thank you for the release of the hostages who are now home with their families. That was a beautiful gesture and was very much appreciated.
If you change your mind having to do with this most important summit, please do not hesitate to call me or write. The world, and North Korea in particular, has lost a great opportunity for lasting peace and great prosperity and wealth. This missed opportunity is a truly sad moment in history.
      Sincerely yours,
      Donald J. Trump
President of the United States of America
