One commenter said, apparently in all seriousness, that she admired trump because as a 70 year old he selflessly gave up his profitable businesses and the billionaire lifestyle he earned in order to make the country a better place.
People actually believe this shit. It's mind boggling. I can almost see the point of view of those who say "yeah, he's a crook and a liar, but he's sticking it to the government and I like that". But to think there are those who believe he is earnest and well meaning?

The problem with thinking you're the only one who can effectively communicate with the public.
