So Team Trump Treason is bitching about going to that national security threat that is Canada for the G7 meeting because he opposes them and doesn’t want to be lectured. What the fuck happened to the tough negotiator that was going to be tough and negotiate way better, beautiful, the most beautiful trade deals ever? Team Trump Treason’s fragile little ego can’t take the snickers from the likes of Macron, Trudeau, Abe, Merkle and May. Or no peeing scheduled on the agenda? Suckers.
My daughter and I are going to Amsterdam next week (we’ll be at night 2). We joked about just telling people we’re Canadian, but this may make that really happen.
My family will be going to Italy. We did joke about the Canadian thing. But in the end I said we will just be who we are and if anyone has a problem with that, that's on them. Though, I imagine we'll end up apologizing for the idiots that voted for Trump.

My wife was in Scotland for two weeks. She was amazed at how much anti-tRump stuff there was in bookstores, etc.
More than a few times people approached her during tours asking what the fuck was up with tRump....one guy said "it was the rednecks that got him in wasn't it?"

Cue BS intervening on Trump supporters' behalves here saying something like: no no no. It was actually a very wise and informed voter base that elected Trump. They were so dissatisfied with the system that they elected a real man of the people who was for sure going to be better than the alternative. They swung for the fences and knocked it clean out of the park!
His core base of morons are still as strong as ever. Nothing will change their minds. They're far too stupid to think objectively (they wouldn't have a clue when America has actually gotten great again) and to boot... they love watching minorities in handcuffs getting deported from their country (this alone is enough for them). And this core is much larger than anyone had ever imagined- there's tons of them.
Unless halifax is correct, the downfall of Trump is going to have be every liberal voter and every remorseful partisan voter getting off their couch to vote the clown out of office.
* I had become somewhat disengaged with the electoral process in recent years. The McDonald Trump calamity has resoundingly demonstrated the need for it.

Advanced course - do you say cottage or cabin?
those are interchangeable? in my neck of the woods, cabin is a remote spot in the woods, a cottage is located in a community.
Westerners say cabin, easterners say cottage, both refer to essentially the same thing. You're in the middle so I guess you get both.
Here cottage is your little house on a lake. Cabin is usually more isolated, rustic, and out in the woods somewhere, or maybe close to a river.
Yeah, same here. The cottage is where somewhat well off people go to vacation on a lake or at the beach, and semi-opaque curtains blow prettily in the open window and there are flower beds along the path leading to the front door, lol, and a cabin is more rustic and more out in the boonies - it may or may not have indoor plumbing.

Nah, I disagree, though usage might be moving in this direction now. Traditionally westerners have used cabin and easterners cottage, whatever it looked like. This is one of those recognized regional variations in language. When I moved to Ontario in 1997 I noticed the difference.

Ya, I know that people in Ontario have a different definition - this is why I've actually discussed this before with people from Ontario. I was just saying what those words mean in my own little world in metro Van. Also, people from Ontario call going to a cabin (cottage to them) "camping", which is not at all what camping means in my circle. You have to be sleeping in a tent for it to be camping. The differences between Ontario and BC are stunning to me sometimes. Honestly, it often feels like we're from two different countries, and not just because of the differences in language usage.

Team Trump Treason claims he doesn’t need to prep for his meeting with the very honorable Un. So, how does anyone claim Team Trump Treason knows what he’s doing? All force of personality? Pomp and circumstances with no substance? Check it off the list before moving on to the next manufactured crisis that he can weigh in on before leaving it in tatters and a mess? Like the words to our national anthem and God Bless America and the war of 1812, Team Trump Treason has not a fucking clue. Suckers.
I love how they got Abe to say "no other president before you could get this done" or something to that effect. Fucking pathetic.
And to think Team Trump Treason just sold US national security for a billion dollars to the Chinese, the real US nemesis in the region. China gets what it wants, Un gets what he wants and Team Trump Treason spouts how great he is despite having further enabled the true nuclear power and threat in the region. Team Trump Treason is clueless and is being played like the sucker he is. And everybody knows it but won’t say it. Just like at all the gatherings he’s ever attended his whole life.
Who plays Team Trump Treason in the bio-pic mini series?
See....this thread is a great example of why I can't even pretend to be Canadian....seriously how many post discussing Cabin vs Cottage?
I thought only women used the word cottage?
I said cabin for my entire life until about 10 years ago when a coworker "set me straight". I thought saying cottage sounded kind of pretentious, which is why I used cabin.

'Cottage' is typically used to describe a type of cheese we eat.
