Not sure if this was even discussed but it really seems like Trump is holding a grudge against the NFL?

He hit the NFL with his statement "don't hide in the locker room" to lump everyone together.  Trump is targeting 61million people that voted for him to punish the NFL and it's owners.

Trump is making calculated comments to make the NFL a political agenda now.  The man isn't an idiot but a man with a grudge.

    Why not both?  :)

Watching him lip sync the national anthem really makes me think he's an idiot- for a multitude of reasons.

Everyone is quick to call him "an idiot".  The man has diarrhea of the mouth but apparently is calculating, vengeful and good at it.  That is what I think can be dangerous.  It could be good too if he uses it right.

Lost in all the really important situation that is the NFL controversy, a federal judge has ruled that TeamTrump Treason can be deposed in the Summer Zervos lawsuit. Do you think Team Mueller quietly celebrated?

I saw this bigly news just because I was digging around in the old news about trump being accused of sexual assault. I was digging because some guy was saying all his accusers were paid to make the accusations and had since shut up. Of course there was no reply after I posted this update.

That Team Trump Treason’s legal Team is trying to limit the deposition to questions that only involve Zervos is very telling. Seems they don’t want her establishing a “pattern.” Wonder why?

    How so?

You are inferring quite a bit from his 'discussing the issue' comment.

That is true.... I actually feel like even the vast majority of people who hate Trump don't really care either though. It always seems to be the last thing on their minds when they rail against him rather than the first, which is what it should be. It's fucked up.

it's because so much has happened since then that he's said or done that it's disappeared from memory for most. and it's almost "expected" behaviour of a creep like him, which somehow seems to excuse it in public opinion. you'd think the weinstein effect would have done something, but in a very odd way, he seems impervious to all of the scandal that rocks everyone else who does equal or lesser things than he has. it's bizarre.

Yeah, it really is. We're certainly learning more about the psychology behind populations leading fascists to power, and in modern times ... but I doubt it's really useful information, since, as just mentioned in the Canada thread, people never learn either way.

Don’t forget, Team Trump Treason’s base isn’t even hearing about it. It’s not covered by Faux news and the right leaning news outlets like the WSJ, Murdoch owned, Washington Times, Mooney owned, and Sinclair Group, conservative owned, don’t report it and if they do, it’s buried on page 11. There’s a reason the constitution called for state legislators to elect senators. We’re devolving to that need again, unfortunately.

Lost in all the really important situation that is the NFL controversy, a federal judge has ruled that TeamTrump Treason can be deposed in the Summer Zervos lawsuit. Do you think Team Mueller quietly celebrated?

Follow the money and the lies, from Russia with love and a PTape, all the way to impeachment.
I saw this bigly news just because I was digging around in the old news about trump being accused of sexual assault. I was digging because some guy was saying all his accusers were paid to make the accusations and had since shut up. Of course there was no reply after I posted this update.
Well nobody cares that the President is a sexual predator, clearly. I've never seen people care less about someone in the public eye being a sexual predator. Never.
makes them seem less slimey to themselves.
I’ve heard it referred to as the “bed of nails” technique. Much less impact when there’s a behaviour exhibited on repeat vs. just one time.

Well, I think Trump is going insane with the whole pardon/commuting thing in general (because he wants to pardon himself and his friends when the time comes, I assume, and is setting up the precedent, plus it's got to do with his celebrity obsession in this case, desperately wanting celebrities to like him, basically), but I can't argue with this particular commutation, Trump and his bullshit aside - she's spent more than enough time behind bars for those particular crimes. The obvious problem, of course, is that nothing distinguishes this woman from so many other people in prison, but he's not commuting any of their sentences because a Kardashian didn't ask him to. There is a whole lot wrong with that, obviously. Pure favoritism - his decision is based on nothing good or decent, nor on fairness or anything like that. It's all about ego and helping out his slimy celebrity friends. It's just sick.

Now I get what Kanye was doing.

In and of itself, I don't have a problem with this person being let out.  20 years for a non-violent drug offense is not my cup of tea.  But he really is serving those who love him and ignoring (at best) those who don't.  Love also includes those who provide him electoral votes (ask Puerto Rico).

I was surprised he would commute a drug convict ... so this a good thing ... but yes, you are right he should be more fair in his decision ... but that's no going to happen.

He has been holding holding a grudge against the NFL for decades. Ever since they wouldn't  let him join with his USFL team. And again when he wasn't  approved to buy the Bills.

Is there anyone on here that truly supports Trump?

I think it is beyond bias at this point.  He's just a complete fuck up.

Even Paul Ryan is saying he's full of shit now.

When talking to Trudeau about the dumb tariffs, he accused Canadians of burning down the white house in 1812.....it was the British.

Yeah, safe to say he's an idiot. Idiots are sometimes known to hold grudges.
