There is an investigation. There have been indictments that do not pertain to “Russia” at all. The only new facts other then that pertain to an abuse of government power to spy on a candidate and hamstring in incoming administration. Do you think the sentencing of Flynn is being delayed because he is flipping on Trump? The far more likely scenerio is that Mueller has discovered that the evidence he was indicted on was tainted by a corrupted FBI and NSA. The origin doesn't make it untrue or unlikely to be true. Steele was a well known asset to the FBI. Law enforcement uses much shadier informants every day.
Second, the #memo notes that the dossier was an "essential" part of the warrant. That's a clever word. It's not the same as "primary" nor "only". My left thumb is essential to my manual dexterity, but I don't cease to function without it.

While we’re at it they should release the first FISA application that was initially denied. What changed between the two applications? Was it the dossier? What we now know is that Comey was aware it was Democratic funded opposition research. The FBI was aware that it was Democratic funded opposition research. They withheld this fact from the President. They withheld this fact from the media after the dossier coveniently leaked.
It was all a hit job from top to bottom. Hatred of Trump caused good people to do bad things.
