White House lets Jones Act waiver expire for Puerto Rico
BY MELANIE ZANONA - 10/09/17 01:34 PM EDT 0
The White House has let a 10-day shipping waiver expire for Puerto Rico, meaning foreign ships can no longer bring aid to the hurricane-ravaged island from U.S. ports.
Trump told the president of Puerto Rico "You should be glad you didn't have to deal with a real catastrophe like Katrina." The Orange President is heartless and clueless.
Lol
Always a 'one upper'.
"Hey. Have the meatloaf. No... seriously. You're having the meatloaf."
Somebody please tell me that even the simplest of bastards now understands what a twit this moron is. Does half the US believe what the president says because the president said it so it must be true?
If that is the case... holy shit. That... is a problem.
My wife and I were talking about this today. She thought (and was horrified at the thought) that half the people in the U.S. were still behind Trump. I didn't think so. I looked it up and the various polls run something like 32% to 36% approval-- about a third. But still, DAMN that's still a lot of people! How can that many people not see the obvious? Pretty amazing.

Where are the Fortune 500 endorsements? It's like your meth addicted second cousin has taken over and ur scared to do an intervention. It's coming in the form of mueller md.
Its the same people, who believe all the news (bad stuff about trump) is all fake. But also still believe stuff like obama is a foreign muslim and made everyone call christmas trees holiday trees...
But it's not all about believing the news is Fake. For some, they are happy he is upsetting the political world. They are happy that congresspeople are upset and the media is upset cause thats what they wanted him to do. They believed Washington was broken and are happy with him breaking it up. The problem is, like everything else he has done pretty much, there was no plan for what it should be like. Just break it up.....kinda like Repeal with no idea how to replace.....
1,318 false or misleading statements since becoming president. That alone should be cause for impeachment. Tax evasion, money laundering and collusion it will have to be.
Moron moron moron I love it we have a moron for president and the GOP can't/won't do anything about it they are stuck with this imbecile !
It's won't (because they can)....and it's disgusting. They soooooo wanted to win the white house and beat Hillary that they have been willing to ignore EVERYTHING. Disgusting.
my very politically astute father in law stated at last night's TG dinner that if another election were held tomorrow, Trump would win again. His basis for this is that America is still largely rural, and that's where Trump's base comes from. My take is, the 50% of people who didn't fucking vote in Nov 2016 would get off their asses and vote. And I can't fathom that it would go in his favour.

No way in hell he would win at this point. The motivation against him is very high and wide-spread. His people are motivated, but they were motivated last November and they kind of maxed out.
It could change in 3 years for sure, that's a lot of time. Maybe people will lose the energy/motivation... If the economy continues in an upward trajectory? We stay in relative peace with one or two diplomatic victories? I dont know.

I agree. Mind you, I am always wary now of saying things like "no way in hell...." where it relates to Trump. I said that repeatedly up until the election. dead wrong. so every time I think it, I kind of think about it for a moment.

If it was against Hillary? He'd win again.
Against Bernie? He'd probably win.
Against...uh...crap, the Dems don't really have a deep bench.
Their motivation is not maxed out...they are still as crazed as ever. The Dems better find someone that can actually bring people to the polls in 2020 or we're looking at eight years. "Not Trump" really should be enough, but it's not. Right now, it looks like re-election...but obviously it's a long way off and hopefully some good candidate emerges that can make it interesting.

Trump hasn't tweeted about the California wildfires yet
Wildfires across Northern California have killed at least 11 people since Sunday night and burned more than 1,500 homes and businesses.
President Trump, so far, is silent on Twitter. Here's what has tweeted about this morning:
Vice President Mike Pence, however, is tweeting about California:
He was a full embarassment when he was Governor.
Yeah cheers
