    If he's the only senior citizen in the UK to get it,  then agreed.  If he didn't get special treatment,  not sure I agree.

    I wonder how they can be UN-appointed when the new administration is in office? It is troubling to read about this.

    I wonder how they can be UN-appointed when the new administration is in office? It is troubling to read about this.

    How hard would it be to fold those boards altogether and start new ones in the interest of homeland security?

    An added benefit is that new boards could address loopholes and adjacencies that may have left us vulnerable to such infiltration in the first goddamn place.

    I generally agree, although I don't know the laws around the special counsel.  However, I would be surprised if the acting AG would assign the SC, since he is a career official.  He'll probably get fired too.

    POTUS can fire the special counsel by ordering his AG to do so but not without there being a shit storm. Nixon ordered his AG to fire Archibald Cox who refused to do so and resigned. Then he ordered his Assistant AG to do so and he too refused and resigned in protest. Then it came to Bork, who did so and why he wasn't appointed to the SCOTUS during Reagan's term, I think. It was the Saturday Night Massacre or as Arlo sings, Mass-a-creeeeee. All the dems have to repeat is, "hoax," "witchhunt," and "fraud."

    I believe I heard Neal Katyal say that a president can't appoint a Special Counsel. Forgive me if I'm not remembering correctly.
